      As a Villanova homer and going to the games you can see the kids develop under Wright’s discipline. Wright has a good eye for talent and an inside scoop to the catholic schools. He makes sure the kids buy into his system 100%. It doesn’t always work out but when it does look out. More importantly the kids parents are confident that he will do his best to make sure their kids become good students and good people.

    Anyone who has followed this kid knows he is the ultimate teammate. With the Bucks he defers to the Freak, Kris and Bled. At Nova he deferred to Brunson, Bridges, Paschall etc. But, when guys go down or get in foul trouble like Brunson did, he gets more aggressive and lights it up, when he gets the green light he is even more of an exceptional baller.

    I watch sports A LOT and I've never seen the literal "Eye of the Tiger" like I see in this guy's eyes. Even during the interview, you can tell he's a competitor 110% and loves to kill/attack the competition like his teammates say. Villanova will win it again next year if this guy is a starter. You know this guy can play basketball when his name is Donte.

    Watched him close that last two years.Really is like Klay Thompson with more athleticism & I mean that.

      Jay Money I haven't seen him other than this game, but he is way more athletic than klay. Klay ain't got no bunnies.

      +Mari E It's a footage of him up, though it's not a whole lot.Chances are his stock has risen like never before after a game like last night on a stage so big.He's one of those guys that goes under the radar & isn't a household name but shows up in big moments.His help side & individual defense is pretty good just like Klay & he's 6'5.

      Idk bro, Gotta take into account thatKlay was much better in college and hes like 2 inches taller, also Donte is more of a playmaker and a quicker/athletic guard with a good jumper and high IQ, while Klay is a straight 3 and D man with the ability to drive and also with high IQ and a deadly jump shot. I think a better comparison for Donte would be a more athletic Austin Rivers. Respect to your opinion though

      @tdt1555 Před 6 lety

      no way, mikal bridges is a lot closer to klay thompson than donte. Donte gets way more of his shots off the dribble and uses on ball pick and rolls way more than klay ever does. Not that many of his shots came off spot ups and he's more of a point guard than klay. If anything he's more like stephen curry
