This is a very wrong information as TAA was created in 1929 by coastal entirely Muslim group and the leader wa Rashid Kawawa. In 1954 Nyerere joined TAA and changed it to TANU....Tanganyika Africa National Union.
She said 1953 he was elected to be TAA president which is true you better listen careful before you drop comment Salehe we are all the same people Christian,Muslim or Jews
