I was there for this. Infact i was so engrossed by watching her performance that i completely missed the mayhem going on behind me of a gunman running around amongst the crowds being chased by security. Quite a surreal time. Thankfully the guy must’ve been a bad shot, probably completely wasted and he didnt manage to injure anyone. Bjork was fabulous 👍🏻

I’d given up on pop music around 1976, but a brief few years in the early 90’s rekindled my interest. It didn’t last very long, but was a pleasant surprise.
I love the freedom of her look; how she simultaneously looks so complete and ethereal but like she just fell out of bed, threw on some shoes and ran on stage. Not to mention her energy. I regret two things: That it took me far too long to discover her brilliance, and I still haven't seen her perform live.

I remember finding C4's first Glastonbury coverage really enjoyable. It's often said that festival goers, as well to ravers, got into Orbital that year. Which is true but I'd add sofa dwellers to that list too. Thanks for posting this.
I’m 53. Imagine how cool it was when Live Aid was on TV all day. And it was the first time you’d seen more than an hours music on telly at once for....we’ll ever. shame it was choc full of eighties shit but. You only had Top of the Pops and The old grey Whistle Test. few people had MTV at first. 2 hrs of Music TV per week. just thought I’d share that. don’t know why.
