He that sows in tears, reaps in joy.
Went straight out and bought book.
Thank you for this, excellent! God bless
There are some words mispronounced Filikalia, bous, Panagia, Theosis, by the author, but overall it is a very good book. Good job.

Greek Orthodox rules!
Excellent Book! Please be advised that the narrator mispronounces one of the the terms for the Theotokos, PANAGIA, which means the All Holy One. He says Panaya which is incorrect.
He also says nous as "noose" and "nouse". Still, it is an excellent book.
I appreciate the work, but I wish that Orthodox out of all people would use a human voice!
I don't understand the Orthodox blanket criticism of Protestantism. Nearly everything in this book I have heard preached from a Baptist pulpit. I loved the book very much!
Because as Christ prayed “Father may they be one as we are one” His will is for the Church to be one, not just spiritually but also on a physical level, just as he became incarnate for us here on earth and united the nature of man and God in one person.
@@paulr5246 Well, I have always been taught to treat people of other denominations as fellow believers as long as they are sound on the fundamentals of the faith. For example, I don't speak in tongues, but I can still speak with charismatics about the saving blood of Jesus. I don't venerate icons but I can also speak and fellowship with Orthodox christians. I don't fellowship with Mormons or JW's (among others) because they deny things like the deity of Christ and the trinity. They are religions of works, not grace.
Anyway, thanks for your reply and may the grace of our Lord and Savior be with you!
@@teddy122389 being charitable to others and having a preference for those with a more correct understanding (the creed) does not have to prevent us from uniting with the Apostolic body that traces its roots to the Apostles themselves.
So what's with the Russian schism with Constantinople... And why are there so many over lapping jurisdictions in America? They talk a big game about one visible church, but they are not nearly as united as they would have you believe.
Orthodox tend to be insular, i excuse their bigotry on that basis... And for love of Christ.
so joseph smith and the mormons aren't crazy.
No they are, their belief is strongly misconstructured and off base. However I'm guessing this comment is more spoof than actually belief that they aren't crazy
@@Athanasius1975 We shouldn't judge anyone , i believe God will judge all based on their understanding or Heaven would be sparsely populated.
@@richardkasper5822 this is true , the Lord does as he sees fit. But he says also many are called few chosen, also the road to perdition is wide. But ro heaven is narrow. So yeah , I'm not a sola scriptura at all , but.. the church has spoken so...
We should leave the judgement of condemnation to God but we must apply the judgement of discernment to life and have the courage to speak out against heretical teachings in the hopes of reducing the population headed to the lake of fire.
Joseph Smith and the Mormons' beliefs are viewed as heretical by the Orthodox church.
The ignorant western mind maybe is not aware of this catholic teaching, but you find this in Saint Thomas Aquinas, Saint Teresa of Avila, Saint John of the Cross, and many others, so please just stop this nonsensical fallacy of west vs east.
