Well 1574391,I must say by playing for 42 years have not achieve you anything. Every guitar player have their own style and strength.With fancy finger techniques but without feel and melody is boring as well.He is not fancy but simple. He makes it up with feel and soul in every notes he phrase.His music is original and with nice and melodic tunes.His tone is delicious. I bet ten thousand of the rest here agree with me. Hey Dhalif you are one of my fav guitar player alongside Jason Becker. Salam bro.

The only bad thing is that you've played a little too much : let the backing track breath at some point. "Music comes from silent" once said Miles Davis. That's ok because it's an improvisation so you need to warm up in a bit but at the end it tends to look a little boring because the song has no construction and all we can hear is your guitar, as beautiful as it sounds.

Hey Dhal, I had to comment. Your phrasing and feeling is beautiful. BUT. Your sound, the sound of your pick ups are too compressed and there is no singing coming out of those notes because if that!!! I suggest you find nicer sounding pick ups with a prettier voice. And use less compression and or distortion to get a more orgsnic, natural singing tone from your pick ups. Your interface could be one of the bigger problems with these recordings, but I have personally owned those pick ups and I know the sonic 5 magnets are too hot for the vocalizing / guitar singing we both do! They are clearer than other pick ups at high gains but they weren't made for articulate singing notes.. Just clearer distorted notes. But no pretty singing. Alnico 2 magnets are best for this style. But the pick up voice is unique to that particular pick up. Varying between all pick ups. Also I wanted to remind you to keep all your phrasing, feeling, playing, organized and meaningful. All songs have an intro, a first verse, a bridge, a chorus. back to the bridge, back to the verse, back to the bridge, back to the chorus, bridge into solo, back to the bridge, back to the last verse. Or last chorus to the ending.... Structure, melodic order is totally necessary or it all just sounds like a lot of emotive phrasing! Work on these things Dhal. Your talent is there!! You can be one of the exceptional guitarists if you can make the corrections I've just mentioned... I'm looking forward to hearing your corrections...
LOL.. First of all, this video is from 6 years ago. Second, his pickups sound fine here. Tone/sound is subjective. Third, what are your credentials again which warrant this sort of critique without coming off patronizing?
