some of the names have been absolutely butchered here 🤣
There's so much great golf available in Ireland. Old Head is an incredible course that shouldn't be missed if planning a golf trip to Ireland. Enjoy.
The Old head of Kinsale should be top of this list. It's like something from a PlayStation game. Truly breath taking
Quite an excellent list. World class golf and wonderful people. Can't wait to tee it up.
Had the pleasure of playing rcd cant remember how I played can remember how beautiful and historic it felt on the day
Luckily I have played each one. So many beautiful amazing courses. .. all listed in the book A Course Called Ireland. Even played Cruit island.
Agree with many on this list.. Ireland has better courses overall, compared to Scotland.
Ballybunion is incredible. But, almost every course is a treasure. If going to Ireland, go for a month and play the top 30 courses. Go in July or August. The days are long, and one can easily play 36 holes a day.. oh, and always have a pint after golf with friends...if you don't, you are deemed as anti social.
Absolutely agree, and great tips. And love the always have a pint after golf 🍻
Picture used at 6:43 is hole 12 Co. Sligo/Rosses Point, not Portmarnock
Thanks for sharing this video… I’ve had the opportunity to play Royal Port Rush, Ballybunion, Old Head, and Royal County Down in Ireland. I agree with some of the comments that Old Head should be considered… incredible cliff views and some very challenging holes. Absolutely loved Royal Port Rush… what a treasure for sure. However, the best course anyplace (including Scotland and the USA courses) is Royal County Down… such a challenging and beautiful course, and can bring you to your knees in a brisk wind.
I would add Old Head to this list.
Thanks for the tip! We will definitely add it to our list! Have you already played at Old Head ?
@@24Golf Yes, Old Head was fantastic. It was part of a buddy trip to beautiful Ireland. We also played Lahinch (my favorite), Doonbeg, Tralee, Waterville, Killarney and Ballbunion (old course).
Portmanock 👍🏼
Have you already played there?
Before you make a clip of golfing in Ireland, make sure your pronounce the names right. You were way off on some of them. Example - sand heaps??? Dunes you mean. Adare??? Louth???
i think its on purpose
Did I hear major city of Ballybunion....
Definitely the Old Head of Kinsale has to be in this list.....though it's not a true links course it's like Portmarnock on steroids with the course surrounded with steep Cliffs...... Truly of the most Amazing Golfing experiences in the world.
I was fortunate enough to play six of the 10 on this list. I’ve taken two golf trips to Ireland. An absolute must for avid golfers.
The voice over gets all the pronunciation of the courses wrong and when showing one course is showing a completely different course there is videos of rosses point etc here get your facts right
Which golf course do you think is the most beautiful in Ireland🇮🇪? Have you played at any of these golf courses⛳️? Let us know in the comments below.
We have Euros not pounds here in Ireland 🇮🇪🇪🇺🤭
@@woohoohaha7607 And a few of the pronunciations were really bad.
@@patrickmorgan4006 Yeah
Everyone needs to play headfort new when they come to Ireland , im a member and at such an affordable cost for such a beautiful course it’s unreal
Big time, proper golf courses 👍⛳️
Add the Old Head☘️
Thanks for the tip! We will definitely add it to our list! Have you already played at Old Head ?
Enniscrone is also fantastic, along with Carne Golf links and Connemara links and you’ll be more than welcome to play them
Are the pronounciations deliberately wrong….funny
We dont have pounds we have euros on Ireland 🇮🇪
You have a picture of a course that is not Baltray during the Baltray segment?
Jaw dropping Green Fees too! No one likes to be overcharged.
What about Old Head!!
They look amazing but the only course that would make me cross the Pond is St Andrews in Scotland give me old tree lined USA courses. Mainly because of cost & my lack of game!
I hear you on St Andrews but Europe has a bunch of great beautiful legendary golf courses worth going across the pond. St Andrews would be my first stop though.
It’s not that good apparently. Anyone I know who played it has said it’s cool to play it, especially the bits in the town but the rest of it is not that interesting. There’s far better courses elsewhere in Scotland and Ireland.
Plenty of tree lined courses all over Europe including in Ireland as well.
The major city of ballybunion 😂😂😂
Ballybunion is the most beautiful course in ireland
Old Head
You would think that basic things like correct pronunciations would be researched before making these videos
RCD is way over rated.
