      @@litecoinmoses974 No but he was alive through all those periods, when America was in way more trouble then we are now, and he saw us come out them almost always stronger. He may not have participated but you don't need to participate in something to learn from history. The point is that he is old enough to remember that America has been in worse situations and ended up just fine. Also he wasn't always in the 1 percent, he worked his way up there with smart and revolutionary thinking and investing, nor does his status change US history. So just saying that he is a 1 percenter doesn't do anything.

      Ishaq, Good question. The earned income credit actually gives them more money back than what they paid in. Essentially if they paid in 1,450 dollars in taxes that year they will get that back plus additional money ( around $2-3000 If I recall correctly). Raising the entry level tax is also a good help for low income families but in the case of the lowest it would not have the same impact.

      I'd love to have a chat about your thoughts on Bitcoin/Blockchain. All of my analysis says current grade cryptocurrencies are much less valuable than people think. Q: What is the value you see in Bitcoin?

    • @jalapenohiway
      @jalapenohiway Před 5 lety

      @@cjezinne Ok in my opinion we're already headed towards an I.O.V (Internet Of Value) our lives are already continuously becoming more integrated with technology everyday. Also In this day & age we expect everything to be available at our fingertips & in the fastest possible manner(aka instantaneously) from Email/Social Media, Uber/Grub Hub, Live streaming music or TV so we don't have to wait forever for it to download just to watch it once.....right? So why is it that in 2018 a wire transfer from the U.S. to Colombia (South America & just using it as an example) takes anywhere from 2-7days depending on the amount of $ that you're sending & then the fees are outrageous. I once used Money Gram to send about $3500 from the U.S. to Colombia & I was charged $400 to send my own $ AND IT TOOK 3 Days smh lol. With the creation of Bitcoin we can have our money move as fast as our data moves, so it's significantly faster & cheaper at the same time.
      BUT also the other reason why Bitcoin is better than the normal $US Dollar is because it is a deflationary asset, meaning there will only ever be 21 Million Bitcoin ever created. So the more that the demand increases for BTC, then the more the value will increase as well. It's completely opposite to the endless supply of monopoly money that our gov't recklessly prints out at an alarming rate, causing inflation to become more & more of an issue as each day goes by.
      Then you have the underlying technology in Bitcoin, which is called "Blockchain". This is what gives Bitcoin its intrinsic value. Every single transaction that happens on the BTC network is displayed within an open ledger online, it's available for all to see. Now it doesn't give out sensitive information like name/ address etc but if you know an Individual's or Company's wallet address you can see every transaction that has ever occurred. It's 100% transparent, which would make political corruption &/or illegal activities alot harder to hide.
      I'm not saying that just because bitcoin will exist & thrive that the $USD will go away or become worthless bc I feel the both have a role to play. But if you think about it the only real reason that our "money" has any type of value is bc WE, the people all agree & believe it has value. The same thing is happening & will continue to happen with BTC & other cryptocurrencies. They have intrinsic value & a legitimate use case.

    • @cjezinne
      @cjezinne Před 5 lety +2

      JP, Thanks for the reply
      Bitcoin has had it's own scaling problems with transaction costs and moving of money. Before your money can be moved a new block needs to be mined. Which will only get harder with time, this is why there are other cryptocurrencies better in that respect, such as Bitcoin cash, ETH, etc.
      So i'll leave out Bitcoin, because though it is the biggest, it's also one of the weakest to solve the problems you have addressed. But that is still the great benefit of crypto.
      Now, I do agree that it is an inherently deflationary asset, however, that is only going to work if the coin is used properly. Right now, the entire crypto game is owned by speculators, whose entire investment is hoping their cryptocurrency becomes more valuable and then they just cash out to USD. Also not all currencies even follow this principle.
      I do not believe that blockchain is the intrinsic value of bitcoin. The technology itself is valuable, but the currency aspect does not provide intrisic value, it's just what makes the currency works. ETH could make a compeling argument for that since, you can use the network to attach nodes for other uses.
      I have studied the crypto industry for over a year now and I have met a minuscule amount of people using bitcoin for average everyday transactions, trending the currency up to ubiquitous use. At least 90% of crypto owners are HODLing till the next big boom to sell... to USD

      bro do u invest in crypto currency? this guy been on tv running his mouth about how foolish bitcoin is. meanwhile been coin has been going up and down since its last boom in december. people are still making huge profit everyday from crypto due to the flucuation and we are headed for another huge boom again this winter. crypto is going to be a huge gold rush for people my age and your age. you're actually gonna see people in poverty become millionaires. you have people living in the project taking advantage of this opportunity. meanwhile Buffett's lying ass is saying it's gonna be a failure and saying he hasnt and will not ever invest in crypto. Do the math, bro. The average middle class american makes roughly 40K a year. Imagine if that same person invested $1,000 in crypto. Thats 2.5 of their yearly salary. Thats .0009 of 1 Billion. Any reasonable invest knows thats a bunch of hog wash to say a multi billionaire who is known for investing and built alot of wealth from invest wouldnt even invest atleast 1,000 let alone one dollar. It's literally like invest You first have to understand the wealthy and elite. Invest $1K is like him investing less than a penny literally if you do the equivelence of his buying power to your's. There is know doubt that crypto is huge and that millions are investing in it and millions have over 50 percent faith in crypto's future. There are also other cryptos besides bitcoin. Take NEO coin for instance. NEO went from 1 cent to $160 within 6 months time. That means a $100 investment would have made you a millionaire in 4 to 5 months. At one point "Bitcoin" was the most searched word/phrase on google search. CNBC shows the price of Bitcoin everyday and speaks on it often. Our government had to make tax laws due to it's popularity and the profit being made by investors. Crypto investors arent the typical investors. It made up of many new investors, young investors, poor investors, white investors, black investors, educated, drop outs, and so on. I was calling Marc Cuban a liar when he was trying to down grade crypto but he changed his advice for Americans the minute he decided to start his own crytpo coin. Bro, you gotta understand the fear crypto puts in the wealthy when they see that a whole new group of families and races, and social classes, and names can change the face of the powerful and wealthy. You're really about to see alot of guys from the Projects, Slums, even felons and people from 3rd worlds become billionaires the next big boom that happens in crypto which is expected this winter again. Most billionaires come from a long family of wealthy people going back 100 to 200 to even 400 yrs ago. Remember the guy with the money has say in America's future. I bet you didnt know billionaires create most laws and then submit them to legislation. You would have to watch the Documentary called "13th" to understand that. It not a conspiracy or anything at all. Its literally fact. Back to Buffett......bro, why would you be okay with a billionaire trying to create Investing FUD (fear uncertainty doubt) in the investing world??? You need to be smacked in the back of your head if your that foolish and uneducated to think a billionaire investor really means it when he says he wouldnt and hasnt even invest one dollar into one of the biggest advancements in technology history and one of the most lucrative investment ever. You should look upto other people. Guys like Buffett arent in your favor. There was an article about how all the billionaires in the world can end poverty 7 times over. Did you know Bitcoin solved a problem called DOUBLE SPENDING. Look it up, buddy boy. Did you know MONEY GRAM, WESTERN UNION are in the testing phase of BLOCKCHAIN technology which is the technology used to send crypto currency in case you didnt know. UNDERSTAND POWER and the FACE OF POWER, FACE OF WEALTH. Dont let guys like Buffett spread FUD. Believe he is well invested in crypto. This is the real contribution of Warren Buffett to the economy:
    "Income inequality contributes to wealth inequality. For example, economist Emmanuel Saez wrote in June 2016 that the top 1% of families captured 52% of the total real income (GDP) growth per family from 2009-2015. From 2009 to 2012, the top 1% captured 91% of the income gains" ...
    "In 2007, the top 20% wealthiest possessed 80% of all financial assets.[19] In 2007 the richest 1% of the American population owned 35% of the country's total wealth, and the next 19% owned 51%. Thus, the top 20% of Americans owned 86% of the country's wealth and the bottom 80% of the population owned 14%. In 2011, financial inequality was greater than inequality in total wealth, with the top 1% of the population owning 43%, the next 19% of Americans owning 50%, and the bottom 80% owning 7%."...
    "Essentially, the wealthy possess greater financial opportunities that allow their money to make more money. Earnings from the stock market or mutual funds are reinvested to produce a larger return"...
    "The nature of tax policies in America has been suggested by economists and politicians such as Emmanuel Saez, Thomas Piketty, and Barack Obama to perpetuate economic inequality in America by steering large sums of wealth into the hands of the wealthiest Americans. The mechanism for this is that when the wealthy avoid paying taxes, wealth concentrates to their coffers and the poor go into debt"...

    Elephant in the room is wealth inequality, there needs to be some mechanism to redistribute fairly. The financialization of the economy is a failure for 99%. Wage growth has stagnated for 30 years. The economy is a house of cards built on credit like never before... Warren Buffet can't say this !! It will have a crisis and hopefully come out better and stronger but we will see some chaos due to the unleveraging of this massive credit bubble.

    His hypothetical $1000000 investment 77 years ago touted as a 5 billion dollar plus windfall by the magic of index investing has a couple of holes. If the mutual fund takes a management fee of 1% a year, his total return drops to 2.65 billion dollars. Further not noted by Buffet is the American headwind. That is the force of inflation. The million dollars 77 years ago had a purchasing power of roughly 1.3 billion dollars today. Under Buffet's best case scenario, the real rate of return after inflation was 3.8x rather than the seeming rate of return of 5,000x. If you had a 1% management fee, that drops to a mere 2x. I assure you that guys like him do not work for a 200% return over 77 years. He made his real money off of accredited investor activity like most very wealthy people. These are private placement securities that ordinary Joes cannot access because of the risk. Also, like every other industry, publicity is Warren Buffett's real currency. He starts buying up something, word gets out, and other money starts chasing it driving up the price. He makes money. It's that simple.

These are the people that should have been rewarded .Cheap money works well for people that are establish. you must get there first.DEBT is not wealth . You done well in a crooked monetary system . Just maybe the rich could become a little less greedy . And level the playing field a bit . BUT THAT'S NOT HOW CAPITALISM WORKS . And shell corporations set up in other countries to park moneys so no tax is paid.

While I inadvertently built massive leg muscles delivering my papers outdoors, via bike and during heavy snow tied to my sled often in waist high snow. The football team dropped their jaws when I could max out the 750lb leg press machine... after all they all knew I never used the gym or weight room.

    Why the American people receive no mercy?
    They placed an educational debt on you for seeking a good paying job, you got a job with an entry level wage, work hard from morning to evening and only see your family at dinner times, bought a home with many years to pay that cannot stand storms, time clock records of your tardiness, and sick days and vacation benefits are only paid after you earned them. If you get injured at work or file a disability benefit, you have to go through long process or many months wait and hire a lawyer before you can get help. If you are being discriminated by employers and go to civil right department for justice, they will ignore your right but take sides of the abusers. You earned money from working hard to help the governments, employers, businesses, religious leaders and media get rich, but in times of your great need where are they? You American people live under curse.
    Leviticus 26
    But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments, and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, I also will do this to you: I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. I will set My face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you. And after all this, if you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. I will break the pride of your power; I will make your heavens like iron and your earth like bronze. And your strength shall be spent in vain; for your land shall not yield its produce, nor shall the trees of the land yield their fruit.
    That is what everyone will get when the country where you live serves the law of Greek gods "demoncracy, " places the God of Israel under the category of religion, removes the teaching of the Law of Moses from the government, religion and businesses, and influence everyone in the world with your pride, lust, shamelessly wear underwear in beaches, and legalized all sorts of sins such as abortion and have men and men or women and women get married. When you a country live outside the laws and commandments of God, He will treat you as the ancient Egypt and suffer hard life, oppression and plagues until you perish. Prophecy foretold the Lord God will water the country America with blood and whoever escape it shall fall by the swords. Blessed are the humble and love the laws and commandments of God, goodness of the Lord of hosts, Lord Jesus, shall come after them. In this last day, only them will get help and favored.
    Ezekiel 32
    Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him: You are like a young lion among the nations, and you are like a monster in the seas, bursting forth in your rivers, troubling the waters with your feet, and fouling their rivers. Thus says the Lord God: I will therefore spread My net over you with a company of many people, and they will draw you up in My net. Then I will leave you on the land; I will cast you out on the open fields, and cause to settle on you all the birds of the heavens. And with you I will fill the beasts of the whole earth. I will lay your flesh on the mountains, and fill the valleys with your carcass. I will also water the land with the flow of your blood, even to the mountains; And the riverbeds will be full of you. When I put out your light, I will cover the heavens, and make its stars dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light. All the bright lights of the heavens I will make dark over you, and bring darkness upon your land, says the Lord God. I will also trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known. Yes, I will make many peoples astonished at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid of you when I brandish My sword before them; and they shall tremble every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your fall.
