Y'all have so much soul that it's unreal . You have given me faith in the younger generation being able to put out some real music . I absolutely love you ladies.
Really nice what you said. They give me faith in my generation. I am their age and as a young woman I am so so glad to see so much talent & soul. Another thing that I find truly rare these days is female artists not cashing in on their sexuality. These 2 ladies are beautiful and keeping it real (I'm honestly sick of so much crotch and boobs thrown at my face). All their likes and views are based on talent alone - even though they are both really beautiful too. Really well done of them. Respect.
Every generation has some creative/destructive/creative-destructive energy. I understand your words because these two women are unbelievable, but there is shit going on, and it's usually somewhere in the margins. Saludos!
These days there's so much shit going on it's really hard to pinpoint where the stench is coming from anymore. I may be a bit boring or old-fashioned for my generation, but I am ok with that hehe. Then again when it comes to music I like a bunch of different types yet still feel more respect towards those who seem more honest about what they do - even though I may very well enjoy some stuff that is very plastic and manufactured, too. Still, think it's hard to have so much feeling in Blues. Something that seems to pop up rarely these days, and yet seemed to come so natural way back when. Cheers from Portugal :)

Being of similar vintage, may I suggest that you might similarly enjoy the sheer soul & intensity of Bonnie Bramlett of the blues / rock / soul band 'Delaney & Bonnie', who I was fortunate to see play live here in Sheffield, northern England, around about 1970/71. They were supported on stage by an absolute galaxy of American musicians and by our own Eric Clapton. What a tremendous show they put on and I still have the two classic vinyl albums I bought back then.
Btw: I saw Larkin Poe in Manchester this Spring: wonderful. Good music never dies. 👍

Rebecca has a give when singing that I only saw in Eva Cassidy. When she gives a vocal note, that is the note. No instantaneous micro-vocal adjustments. This a very rare (and good) condition in a singer.
