Been doing my boats for over 30 yrs never had a problem..Use the same antifreeze..Buy the kit it's cheap..4 gallon plastic jug with a hose going to a tee with two shutoffs attaches to the muffs Fresh water goes to one antifreeze to other..Put plastic jug on swim platform has to be higher than muffs..Get engines good and hot shut off fresh water at tee open antifreeze at tee run jug till empty shut down engines..Done no problem no extra work..Twin 260 mrecruisers..My friends do the same..
This is why I like row boats! The only thing I want to prime is my rocks glass with bourbon!

Hi, just a quick question from a beginner, why after filling the engine with antifreeze is it then drained out and not left in? I thought that was the purpose of the antifreeze? Hope this doesn't sound stupid. Thanks from Northern Ireland... Billy

My omc 5.0 has a heat exchanger, can I add the pink stuff via what looks like a radiator cap on the exchanger?
