What is the cost of living for a couple grocery items in Germany?
My monthly expenses for two people is approx 200-300 Euros which is not more than 25000 Indian Rupees
Let me take you to a German Supermarket and show you all the common grocery items that can be bought from German stores and you don't have to visit Indian stores for these food products.
I visited Rewe supermarket for this vlog.

Honestly, I think even after Inflation the prices of kitchen food items have not hiked that much, what do you think about it? Is grocery shopping in Germany very costly?

Your grocery store tour reminds me my summer vacation in Germany (lagenselbold) not far from Hanau and I had been to all these store Aldi lidl(by the way both are brothers) Rewe but my favorite was Kaufland and the reason was booze and of course the grocery is not expensive as compare to Canada next time when you go to Aldi ,lidl or Rewe pl.mention the name of the city chus

Hey Eri, nice shopping and thank goodness that you're a non-vegetarian Indian (very rare to get one) 😛. I was looking for options to buy fresh chicken/mutton/fishes as we do in India, please let me know if you know where to get them. I stay on the other side of the river (Main) 😄
BTW, the Ja coffee with red cap is the decaf one and costs more, try the one with golden cap, that's the regular one and cost is also less.

Hello Eri “ onion 🧅 paste.. Agli baar woh banani ho toh onion 🧅 ko bade tukdo mai kaat ke flakes bana lena (like we use in stir frying Chinese “ thoda pink hone tak high loo less oil stir ker lena
After that cool it and make the paste.
(Never use middle part of Onion only flakes)

I live in Potsdam and unless I go to Kaufland or a larger Edeka I don't see so much variety. My local edeka is also average. It largely depends on where you reside in Germany!

You will see few Indian brands in Asian or Turkish stores. In German stores, you will find common spices and sometimes sauce that are for used for Indian cooking.
