Champion Kieran theme is STRAIGHT FIRE. So many lightmotifs, even the piano reminded me a bit of Cynthia's piano.
Some how got Gladion vibes from that too

@@Htjtjtjy Ok, I'm starting to get tired of people saying that. That's just 4 notes that look similar, but:
1. I REALLY doubt pokemon would let Toby use one of his themes for a Pokemon game.
2. If you have enough musical knowledge (and you don't need a lot) you'll clearly see it's just a coincidence. It's like people seeing Gaster's theme everywhere, though it actually isn't.
3. Even if they did want to reference Toby, why, of all Toby Fox songs, would they choose Death by Glamour for this theme?

Feel like it's the general consensus that Champion Kieran pretty easily has the best trainer battle theme in the entire game. Probably beating out Sada/Turo by a landslide imo
Nah. Those themes are definitely on-par with each other. If not, Ai professor theme slightly better.
it's a matter of taste of course, but i have to say his OST is very very good and i understand why it's so popular! :)

Honestly this was the best part of the DLC, the return of the Pokemon black and white themes to be remixed into the indigo disk was so amazing
I really like the Blueberry Academy music, it has this “school anime” vibe that I like. And I appreciate the Terradome music too (with its five variants), which is great given how much time you hear it while playing.
The Indigo Disk doesn't miss with its ost. I liked how the trainer battle and wild battle themes were remixes of Unova's trainer and wild themes due to the Blueberry Academy being in the Unova region.
Amarys was the toughest of the BB Elite 4. She was more difficult than Kieran himself, plus I loved his theme and battle. Adding his reaction to using Ogerpon in his battle was a neat touch. Of course, I loved the Areo Zero Underdepths theme with its somber rendition to its regular counterpart.
Crispin gave me the most trouble. His setup wrecked my mono Ice team from turn 1. I beat the rest on my first try.
@@Draezeth It was alright for me since I had Infernape, Goodra, Kilowattrel, Metagross, Venusaur, and Swampert. Plus, it was an all shiny team. The last last 3 were my last desired members before speaking with Carmine.

This is what I needed! The blueberry academy song is so great I never changed it! And the flaming guitar in Kieran's champion theme fits too well. My air guitar always caught a fire too when I played on it

Same here. The story peaked well, I wish they'll break from that cycle of 1099 days per generation and actually improve the game on the next generation without nerfing the story telling method of Gen9.

Fun fact! You know how Kieran has special dialogue if you send out Ogerpon during the champion battle? Well, not only that, he prioritizes Ogerpon as a target (for the most part) until they are switched out or fainted.
And is also programmed to deal as much damage as possible (for example, Porygon z will Hyper beam a teal mask Ogerpon even if Ice beam would also kill)

Pecharunt theme is the remixed version of the Loyal Three theme, also how can you make peak perfection better, remix it of course, also the possession theme is cool too, hope he react to those themes soon tbh
I really enjoyed the first part of _The Indigo Disk_ consisting of discovering the academy and beating the Elite Four, because for the first time since I play Pokémon (and it has been twenty years), I did not know what would happen next. I was wondering how Kieran would react to his defeat, which is imo more interesting than most Elite Fours where you know that the Champion will congratulate you and tell you how incredible you are before fading to your house. There was actually something happening in this story, like in _BW_ with Team Plasma’s castle.
However, I was disappointed by the second part of the DLC (Depths of Area Zero) because the beginning bored me (beating defenseless wild Pokémon), and then the Terapagos part does not last much and is very scarce lore-wise *and* “human-interaction-wise”.

I like how the entire battle theme, savannah and coastal have just enough to please me. Yeah when Coastal kicked into Driftveil I wanted to put the switch back and boot up black/black 2.
