I still say the seeker should PARK for the duration of the penalty. This way you not only don't have to keep track of all the wrong guesses. . . but also it stops the seeker from doing back-to-back guesses of cars that are right next to eachother. It gives the hiders a chance to get away. I also think it would make for better content cause you know the seeker will get annoyed at waiting and the hiders will mock them for it. . . which is entertaining for the viewer to see the seeker suffer. xD
Waiting is a bigger incentive not to guess wrong, not just for time penelty but also cause waiting is just annoying. Oh, and obviously you have to park off to the side of the road. No cheating and causing traffic jams while you wait.
issue is I think they tried this before, but quickly got used to just not doing it and it faded out
the hiders can't really call out the seeker for moving when they should be parked cuz they'd have to see it happening and revealing they can see that would be a free hint or something, parking for failed guesses is a good idea in theory but too hard to enforce
@@VoidRift I mean, they aren't having trouble reminding them to add 5 seconds to the timer, so if the hiders remind the seeker by saying "go park" instead of "no" when the the seeker asks "this you", then it shouldn't be an issue.
(Like playing the card game "go fish".)

I think you should add 10 seconds for every wrong guess, if it was 5 seconds someone could guess 24 cars and only add 2 minutes
Yeah. That's a good strat I'd like to see, so I prefer the 5 secs.

The one bridge that “separates the two halves of the town” is actually separating two different towns, if you look on the map, it says Gang-Jung on one side, and Seo-Gui-Po on the other side
At 17:29 in the background on the bridge, a white car suddenly leaps in the air and does a few barrel rolls and lands in the river. The physics in this game can be so wonky and funny at the same time

I think it'd be fun to see an only parked episode, maybe two, one for both maps. It'll mix things up and I can see some creative ideas coming from it. Maybe ban underwater ocean, but the river seems like fair play, you can see the outline of the vehicle. But when you are doing the driving hiding and seek I think you should ban parking. Also when it comes to penalties for wrong guesses, I think the seeker should have to park and wait for 5 seconds instead of counting them, would make it easier to track.
Next time: *only* underwater spots allowed

Again, my opinion is to allow stepping out of the vehicle as long as they can still see it all is good. I would make a rule that vehicles have to be on roadways of some kind. That has a double whammy effect. When people decide to leave their vehicle, it gives a hint to their location as I'm sure from watching that the NPC parked vehicle's look quite a bit tidier and in line. Plus, if there aren't many parking options, they could cause traffic jams, which are even bigger hints. This'll also eliminate hiding inside structures, both in the vehicle and on foot. Maintaining line of sight makes it difficult to get too far from the vehicle but allows them to try and blend in with the standing NPCs which I think is fully encompassing the whole spirit of the game.

Love these vids, I watch all 3 of them. Could you put an "Incorrect Guess" counter somewhere on the screen in edit? You could also change things a bit by allowing the Seeker to keep their vehicle secret.
Proposed rule: seeker can ask the repeat same question at an interval (1 min?) without using up their hints. Allows you to ask questions where the answer can change without them being made useless by the hiders changing their behavior.

I think it would be fun to play some rounds where you have to park up and hide. Then it becomes a matter of who can hide their vehicle better.

I'm surprised you weren't playing the version of hide and seek where, when you find someone, they become another seeker.
I've seen something like this in GTA5 in the downtown area. There was usually around 10 chasers and each had an owned pink little car and the hider can get bonus points for each car he blows up with bombs. The chaser can go on foot for up to 5 minutes if needed and can change cars whenever they want, but can not use anything that flies. The chasers can spawn any vehicle they want and use fliers. They have to kill you. Gun wise everybody gets pistols and rifles, but nothing worse. They had to kill you within 45 minutes. They did not have an actual point system, but I would say the number of minutes plus something like 3 minutes for every pink car you destroy. Also understand that since the chasers own the pink cars (and place them) they get notified when the pink car they own is blown up. You must be within sight... a block or so when you detonate the explosives. It is a hoot to watch because typically they will find you 2-3 times and you need to loose them. This is hard when they are coordinating against you. Damage is a tell tail as well as driving correctly. Nobody can shoot while in a vehicle.
If the seeker drives a police car, other cops won't try to pull them over and cause a traffic jam
Every 3 minutes you have to do a task like visit a pizza place or bump a yellow car.
Seeker will get the hints like "I have to visit a location" or "I have to find a certain color/type of vehicle

Is changing player appearance only a multiplayer option? I haven’t seen the option but it’s also been about a month since I’ve played.

You should hide in the woods for like 12 minutes. But drive around a little, so when they ask if you are parked you can say no.
I think you should try playing cops and robbers with stock vehicles!
I hope the Motor Town guys add an option to go with a specific time of day. Changing lighting conditions and weather is a bit problematic for game ideas like hide and seek (which is really nice).
I think that if you could guess just right and get a person on the first guess you should get 10 seconds of you final time with all other penalties.

kAN kind of gave himself away to Dapper when Dapper asked if he was in a service vehicle and kAN hesitated before saying he was in a car that a normal person could buy and you would see a lot of them. Watching Dapper's video, I knew immediately that he as in a pickup truck. A vehicle that would make him hesitate to say No to being a service vehicle outright, while also saying that you'd see a lot of them on the road since normal people buy them. There really is nothing else that would fit that description.
The darkness is too fair
I wish you guys would start numbering your motor town sessions in the title. No offense, but your titles and thumbnails for this series kinda blend in with eachother meaning we have no idea if we are watching "x perspective" for a session we already saw from someone else's channel or not. I'm just afraid I accidently skipped an episode because I mistakenly thought it was from an older recording session that I already saw from one of the other guys.
It's different with something like scrap mechanic cause the maps are original user-created content that don't get revisited. With scrap mechanic sessions, you guys do a really great job with the thumbnail/title in distinguishing the different sessions by pointing out the theme of the map in each episode and I wanted to give you props for that. . . but you can't really do that here for this game though since (due to the nature of the game) every episode is exclusively a revisit. Because of this, numbering the episodes/recording sessions would help out greatly. Just some way to coordinate between the channels which is what footage.

Runners get 1 minutes to hide / seperate
Cars/transport has to stand out. unable to blend into trafick

If I understand the game correctly you guys can pick up hitch hikers. I think it'd be neat to have the hiders have to pick up hitch hikers
kAN pro tip for this is that at the start wen Kosmo was nudging u and then later on he said u spluttered what u should do is fake cough then it doesnt put him on you
How about if you get asked if you are moving or parked you can't then change the state of your vehicle after that. I like adding the time, that should be standard. Also I saw someone say park during the 5 second penalty, I second that.
NPCs are using turn signals on intersections, you don't. that way you can get to be find earlier than you wish. or you can use it to your advantage to find your friends...
If you do the mission with the sunglasses in the car by the gas station it will make you like 10k.

What if you just let the seeker choose one type of vehicle (like construction, service, private & so on...) & the hiders have to use vehicles from only that area.

Gotta limit the number of guesses. The time addition wont stop random guesses. Alternately a huge penatly of 60 seconds might make people work at their guesses. 5 seconds on a 10 minute time is nothing. Kinda getting lame with the "Is that you"? at anything. Might want to give the hiders missions too. It will stop people sitting around as much. Game seems to be about driving not sitting in a shop for 10 minutes.
