I never saw you give such an enthusiastic rave review for any book before! I agree with everything you said about it. I started collecting Fritzi Ritz and Nancy comic books decades ago. I have two comic book boxes filled with these comics. I also have all the softcover collections! I live near Ernie Bushmiller's former residence in Stamford CT. I drove up and took several photos of the house from the front lawn. It was a pilgrimage for me! Thanks for reviewing the book!
It is an excellent book, I have been waiting for it for quite a while and it didn't let me down. My earliest comics (US ones) were probably those Nancy / Fritzi comics, sadly I don't have any of them now but at least I have the recent collections. Great to be able to pop up and see his old house, can't say I have done that with any recent artists here in the UK though I did recently pop down to Rye, the home of my favourite living artist, Dave McKean !
