Looks like you've done a great job there Lee. Took me back to my very first job as a fibreglass laminator making garage doors. Fully aware of the fumes, sweat, resin and catalyst in the eye. Did that job for 6 long years, 1987 to 1993.........blimey last century 😄

I've done a lot of groundwork and you put insulation underneath concrete more important than the sides really but you can get insulation that is load bearing you can drive a truck on it mate but you've definitely give me confidence fiberglass my next pond myself good work fellla you're a ⭐ 👌👍

the wax you add is to make the gel coat cure solid and not be tacky The wax rises to the top for an airtight barrier. When using a mould you don't add the wax as it's done in reverse to this method and the coats on top make the airtight seal too have a non-tacky finish

I love how your 650 gallon pond turns out. I'm thinking doing a koi pond with fiberglass by myself, and from the look it's not that hard. Anyway, I have a question for you, how come in the European you guys love doing koi pond with fiberglass and in the United States people don't use fiberglass not much? Another question is what is your black top coat brand? Does it have to be some kind of liquid top coat or something else? Anyway, I would like to thank in advance for your reply.

This is where stupidty comes into play nobody does a 50% overlap stupid stupid if any over lap 1 or 2" over lap usually no over lap just multiple layers and make shure no seems line up
