Vortex and Mustis, they gave the essence that made the band great, the clean voice and neoclassical arrangements in combination to the hard sound, i miss so much

If you're ever reaction to more Dimmu Borgir, react to their performance from Spellemannsprisen, the video is titled; "Dimmu Borgir live under Spellemannprisen 1998" . They're performing the song Grotesquery Conceiled, at an award show called Spellemannsprisen (Norwegian version of the Grammy's.) This was basically the first ever limelight performance of black metal in Norway, too many within the scene's dismay, and to some peoples delight. It's a wonderful timecapsule of what alot of late 90's Norwegian black metal looked like. hehe.

I am not really a huge fan of this music genre but,..I love Dimmu Borgir. How that's supposed to make sense is beyond me.

Ics Vortex, his voices is of a God! Mustis, he is another God playing his keyboard! Both they are outstanding, and of course, without forgetting that Shagrath gutural vocal impressing, both guitarrists Galder and Szelenox are incredible and Hellhammer on his drum, another God sticking bis Drums in that way! Dimmu Borgir amazing! I wish that Vortex and Mustis Back again to band and Dimmu Borgir come back like the past time before!
FINALLY a reaction to the great DB song ever composed besides In Death’s Embrace! this song is too majestic to handle. The studio recording is unmatched though. sounds way grander than this live performance and the song is not as quick. you MUST hear the studio recording. you will be completely blown away
Hard to decide which version is better. Studio version guitar solos are better played though.

Guys you have shoulders larger than the big seats ! This time i am impressed by Jon's Pronounce of Dimmu Borgir ! I don't know who was famous before , between them and CoF . Finally other extreme sonorities and Jon is another time sweet and hilarious at the same time eheh for all video * Look at the face around 0'54" , 1'38"-1'40" , 3'05" , 4'45" , 6'07"- 6'20" , 6'58" , 8'57" . Surely this band know what is doing . At around 5'30" the part of 'melodic singing' starts and the voices are pretty interesting . The drumming have MANY sincopated parts with the double drumming kick . I want to re-listen but this NOT pure velocity . It's velocity with high tecnical skills . Around 5'00"-5'05" Strong rythm change i have to say but rythms arragements are fluctuating constantly in the metrical section ! It seems be makes stronger notes with one of the pedals
