I don’t want MHA not to be about Izuku, I love him and the entire AFO/OFA dynamic. But in another world Kirishima would’ve been a great protagonist. He’s got a simple and unassuming quirk that can be built upon and potentially become incredibly powerful. He’s got a clear goal and a satisfying arc of his own and his quirk could go further than it has currently - he could make himself bigger by adding more layers and reasonably increase his strength too - there’s a lot you could do with his power.
Most 1A characters are good enough to be MCs and it’s one of the best things about MHA. I truly think 1A is one of the best ensemble teams in anime, my only issue is that Horikoshi got to a point where he wanted to finish the series and we didn’t get more development for all of them.

Genuinely a great video! I mean Kirishima has always been my favourite character mainly the way of how you say hes always been a average person no special gifts or anything but he still finds a way to shine among those at the very top who were gifted from birth. Real big fan of this. I haven’t watched MHA in years, but kirishima was always my personal favorite. Seeing that they managed to explore his character in such beautiful ways is good to see. Your video was so intricately put together!
Hey thank you so much man! That means a lot; Red Riot has always been one of my favorite characters and im glad he got his moments to shine. I think his character was over looked so I wanted give him his props. The manga has been really good in this last arc so jump back in!

You are mistaken on bleach, ichigo litteraly is the kirishima before he existed
I watched and red bleach but ichigo was always going head first into danger and fights. He got scared after seeing the opponents he face but he would still fight them. Example kenpachi
Fun opinion: kirishima is a wayyy better character than bakugo from both physically and mindset
Bakugo went crazy at the end of the manga tho.
Deku, with a small loan of 9 quirks in one, with a freaking side-hawk, isn't as interesting as Kirishima to me.
I love deku but kirshima is so dope
