Remembering KRU 224F - My first drive - April 2019

This bus was sadly destroyed by fire on Friday 8th December. Going through my photos / videos I found a clip of my first drive back in April 2019 courtesy of Dekkabus, then the present owners. Very tentative to start but, within 10 minutes, thrasing down the Ferndown bypass! Was an absolute privilege and pleasure. A very sad loss.

Sorry to learn about the fire, was it actually the bus that caught fire, or where it was stored? In 1978, I was going to school on one of these and it caught fire after ascending a very long steep hill. We all got off, and the bus went back into service. It was caused by an oil leak onto the flywheel.
