We were standing on the opposite sides of a barrier around the backstage, talking about his problems, dunno why. And then he introduced me to his bandmates. Their first reaction after seeing me was: Oh its you, we've seen you in the front, on our left, like in front of bassist! You were having fun, weren't you! We've seen you and you gave us energy, thank you!
I believe you with all my heart. On the stage are living people. During shows they don't look in the space in front of them. They are looking at the faces of people, to connect to them with their music. Also thats why they react so quick. So it's very probable that Ben saw you and smiled.

Most people go to these concerts to have fun and raise some hell, they don't go to actually hurt eachother.

Hey guys, I've seen some comments about the flashlight. I just wanted to say that carrying a light is a really good idea. Think about it, there's a reason why cops carry them. It could literally save your life, but it's also just convenient for everyday things. Imagine you're walking to your car at night, you hear some something moving in the shadows by a dumpster or something. You get that sketchy feeling and you car is far away. If you have a light you can quickly identify any potential threats and become totally aware of your surroundings. And if there is someone up to no good, it will disorient them and they won't be able to see you. Again, that's why cops shine their light in your face. To disorient you in case you try something. You can literally get a tiny light that's really bright for a dollar

The Trivium guy Matt, having a light with him on stage is smart. I always carry a small light in my pocket because the type of work I do and I promise its way more useful than you'd think outside of work. Having a flashlight on your phone is nice but its a hassle compared to just sliding one out and having it ready in half a second. Also it being a spot over a flood is super nice.

Because he loves seing his fans doing crazy things during his concerts and encourages them to fight with security, jump, kick, pass the security checkpoints, etc.. like he said « I want fan’s blood ». He thinks of himself as a god who can do what he wants with his army of fans and he loves the power he has on them during his concerts so he asks for fights, crowd surge, etc.. People are always saying that the metal and hard rock industry is violent but a lot of the rappers are really narcissistic and dangerous because they like to use their power for bad reasons unlike the metal bands.
