That was an epic struggle. I always appreciate seeing someone else making mistakes and seeing how they handle it, as it's much more useful to me than a perfect take. Hearing you talk through your approach is great.
This is exactly the game! Warts and all! You can always wedge behind trees and winch trucks uphill, use tree as an stop
Glad you are playing something different. I loved Farming Simulator 19. I got the platinum trophy on PS4. But Farming Simulator 22. They just had to screw with the controls for no reason. I just got aggravated and quit playing.
31:45 sometimes it helps to make the winch length longer and shorten it again when you’re over the summit of the hill/mountain.
Wow mrsealyp you have the patience of a saint !!! If that was me that tatra would of been left for the earth to take it back and I would of just got one from the mod browser. Much love.
Tip for going down hill pull the truck you are towing closer so when it inevitably runs into the back of you there’s less momentum. Obviously that can also make it harder to turn.
That loadstar makes it easy. No other scout will pull that truck out or up a hill. Good video
Hi Mrsealyp, so I was playing The New Mudrunner Expidions, and I found a camcorder that you can put on the first truck you start with
I've learned something for when i get that mission, only got the game yesterday and only played 30mins.
That was a shame, (you missing the recording of the last part), but a brilliant video all the same. And the part where you pulled it up that steep incline I could feel the tension through your silence, lol, and I felt almost as relieved as you know doubt felt when it came over the top.
Thanks this was a great help. I managed to do it on the second attempt. First attempt I delivered to the outpost south of the truck but it didn’t accept it there. Second attempt was hard not going to lie I haven’t gotten any mods yet and my trucks are still very sparsely equipped. I couldn’t pull the tatra up the last hill with the Actaeon so I recovered my AFIM 6x6 from the other outposts and successfully got it up the hill. My work had just begun because I still didn’t know what path to take to the camp. I ended up going over a small ridge south of where you spawn in and almost got stuck in some trees. I would say that was really fun and difficult. Very difficult.
I honestly think you should have tried pulling the Tatra up that final hill while reversing. The 4x4 seems to be much more stable when reversing. Try it sometimes.
I have both the xbox and switch versions as of today. No mods on Switch yet so im thinking that will be my vanilla no mod run through and ill use a mod or two on Xbox SX.
Hey if you didn’t know when you load into your session you can fill your sideboard at the square that you spawn on. I think the base amount is 300 fuel 300 parts and 2 tires. It should save a few dollars. Also obviously the airdrops have some as well. I try not to buy anything to be honest lol.

btw for the early release game, and the recording is not recent, can you add the recording date? now we don't know if you got the latest patch (if there was one)

Its too bad the paths we take are not persistent. If they remained it would make everything much easier. Maybe it would be too much information for the game to keep but it would be cool if our paths would end up as taken trails for later
Enjoy the videos enuff I picked up mudrunner. So far very fun I'm taking it slow no reason to pay $70us to rush through.
I can see me buying this as I've had every other mudrunner game that's been done but have they changed the vehicle physics/steering at all?

Well been playing this game got well far then it blue screened twice so I pushed wrong button and initialised my ps4 oops so I have had to start over again great fun anybody else had blue screens
Good video mr p was loving farm sim but 22 plays so awful from 19 the framerate is horrible. Ive had 62 game crashes from framerate issues. Going back to 19
Can we play this game with thrustmaster steering wheel?
Maybe it is better to turn off the engine of the towed truck when going down a steep slope?
39:50 to gain more grip you could have lowered your tire pressure even more! As long as there is sth. 'white' in the pressure gauge you can lower the pressure even more.
What I really don't get is the fact that you pay a ton of money for a mechanic that prevents you from getting too much damage and then this empty minded guy is not able to prevent a towed truck from getting wedged into trees and rocks while all it was needed to prevent that would have been a slight turning of the towed trucks steering wheels into the correct direction. It's these paradoxes what makes the game so frustrating annoying!
