Sigmas are the least common of all personality types. It’s not that they don’t exist; it’s just that most people aren’t willing to do the hard work necessary to identify them.
They also have a knack for staying under the radar and blending in with society, not attracting too much attention from those who would try and limit their creativity, or force them into a box they were never meant to be in.
It’s a common misconception that all sigma men are going to be carbon copies of one another. They’re actually very unique and individualistic in their thinking, even if they do all share similar interests.

Look for a person who's introverted and observant.
Look for a person who appears to have power over others.
Look for a person who looks directly at when they speak.
Look for a person who appears intelligent and knowledgeable.
Look for a person who answers your question with one of their own.
Look for a person whose body language does not appear closed off.
Look for a person who makes decisions based on the facts.
Look for a person who is not afraid to speak their mind.
Look for a person who appears to be more serious than friendly.
Look for a person who appears to be logical rather than emotional.
Look for a person who appears to be very confident.
Look for a person who typically spends their time alone.
Look for a person who knows exactly what they want out of life.

Malcolm thanks for typing it out, but you forgot power over others but not forcing it over on them.
One correction: The eye contact is dependent on the type of introvert. I am an INTJ Sigma, and the majority of my eye contact is made when listening, because I'm figuring the person out. When speaking, i tend to look at nothing, as I am gathering the right words.
Culture also plays a big role
If you’re saying “I’m an_____,” you aren’t a real sigma, as one wouldn’t allow themselves to be limited by definition. Kind of like how anyone who calls them self a Buddhist isn’t, because the true practice is about jumping free of self-identity. What self is there to call itself sigma?

Although is true to the point that you dont put yourself in boxes but researching and discovering how people act and think is a trait of an introverted personality type. Whether you want to argue that fact the point that people find traits associated with their psychological behavior is one of exploration and serve as a starting journey.

Im a sigma female and do this. I do a lot alone. I took myself out for brunch earlier today and it felt so good even though I got gawked at because im a female, alone at a restaurant. The waitress even brought water and a placemat for the seat across me and I started laughing telling them im a solo diner.

Why does every man act scared of me while in my presence? I'm not a hostile person just overly honest about my logic behind the situation. I guess most people don't like that or can't handle it.
Ive noticed the more overbearing alphas tend to be extremely timid when Im alone with them at work.
A lot of people are intimidated by those things because it challenges themselves it's a good filter for who you will actually connect with. If someone isn't affected in that way by your way of communicating and being then they probably aren't insecure and might even be a more trustworthy and worthy person of your time and personality. This is my opinion because I can relate to your comment.
Sigmas are very confronting and may appear negative even thought you are bringing gold to the discussion or issue at hand. They strive for change and may be daunting to slow paced changes introduced in an industry or workplace.
You are a sigma if you bring confidence to your convictions in a respectful manner. Especially if you are not scared to tell your boss when things are not working. All the other types are scared of this and bring emotion to the situation where as a Sigma will tell it laced w humor or straight up. They cant fire you cause you are most likely their best employee lol
