శ్లో|| 11:యతన్తో యోగినశ్చైనం పశ్యన్త్యాత్మన్యవస్థితమ్|
యతన్తోఽప్యకృతాత్మానో నైనం పశ్యన్త్యచేతసః||

భావము:- ప్రయత్నము చేయు యోగులు దేహామందున్న ఆత్మను చూడగలరు. అచేతస్కులు, అకృతాత్ములు ఎంత ప్రయత్నించినను ఆత్మను తెలియలేరు.
వివరము:- మూడు ఆత్మలు దేహములో కలవు. అందులో జీవాత్మ ప్రయత్నము చేసి ఆత్మను తెలుసుకోవాలి. ఒక విధానము ప్రకారము యోగపద్ధితిలో జీవాత్మ పరమాత్మను చేరాలంటే మార్గము మధ్యలో ఉన్నది ఆత్మయే, కనుక ఆత్మను తెలియనివారు పరమాత్మను తెలియలేరు. కనుక ఎంతో మంది బ్రహ్మయోగులు ప్రయత్నము చేసి తమ శరీరములో ఉన్న ఆత్మను తెలుసుకోగల్గుచున్నారు. మనస్సు స్వాధీనపడనివారు, బ్రహ్మయోగ సాధనలో కృతకృత్యులు కాని వారు, ఎంత ప్రయత్నించినను ఆత్మను తెలియలేరు.
