@Toby Keith Hey Bud!! In September 2021 I was diagnosed an Esophageal/stomach cancer much like you've got I believe so I know a bit about what you're going through.. When I heard about your diagnosis my heart hit the floor and I said "Oh No.. I'm not gonna lose another one of my Country Music Hero's, am I??" And then I read that you had continued touring through treatments until you had to get some rest. I was Totally Impressed by that and the love you must have for your many Fans!! I'm on my Third round of Chemo because the cancer has spread But, with God and my Onocologist team's help I'm looking forward to hitting a Bar after this and slipping the band a few dollars and sing "How do Ya Like Me Now"!!!! Congratulations on the Award and I know your gonna Beat this thing!!!! Stay Tough!!!!!!
@@roscoepc56 All the best to you friend. My Dad is fighting a rare form of stomach cancer. Has been for 3 years literally on Thanksgiving next week. It has been harsh to watch but, like you, his attitude is positive. Would be great to be there when you sing along to "How do Ya Like Me Now"!!!!

I heard the name Toby Keith but never listened to him or country music for matter but when I hear he pasted I looked him up and listened to his interviews and he was wonderful man, singer and a human being but mostly a man of faith. RIP Toby Keith.

I just wonder if Toby knows how much his music means to folks. The 90's were a super hard time for me raising my boy on my own. Music has a way to help you get through things and Toby's music did just that. And thanks to all of those behind the scenes as well that Toby mentioned. Anyway, I still listen to Toby's greatest hits weekly. It's like a part of my life. His songs mean so much to me. I can't imagine ever hearing a new T.K song. Toby, you are one of the greatest country singers and writers that country music has ever had. You have lots of fan's that are going to purchase your music whether they play it on the radio or not. We're not liking this new style of country music that radio is playing. If they don't play your music. We're not listening to their station then. All the musicians from the 90's and 2000's are the only music worth listening to. There's got to be at least one station that's going to just play those tunes for our generation. I love Toby and his music. I love the kind of man that he is. He is kind, patient, caring, and giving. I could go on and on about this man. I hope his wife knows how lucky she is to have a man like him. Because they truly are few and far between. Toby had such strength and endurance, you can tell he doesn’t feel well but is pushing through !
I saw him in concert late august 2021 just before he was diagnosed. He came out on stage and apologized if the concert isn’t his best, that he was sick all night and almost cancelled but he pushed through and gave an outstanding concert. Just the next month he was diagnosed but we didn’t hear that until 6 months later, made me feel terrible at how much he must have been suffering.

You'll probably never see this, but you've been in my life since my toddler nephew would stand up tall and proud, belting out every word "Should've Been A Cowboy" when playing on the radio. I'd question Who that was singing that song, There you were! My entire family that didn't listen to country at all (even though my Uncle was an old Country Music star Bobby Helms) fell in love with you and your songs. My son loved singing your song "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue" and he'd sing every word to the song to "we'll put a boot in your "a**"", he loved that part, as I didn't allow him to curse but that time, yes, I did, it was for Love of his country, America! It just intensified when I saw your love of Veterans, my brother had just joined the Army Chemical Division and we were so worried daily about him during his service in the Iraq war. You, Sir, have given your all and it's top of the line! Still play your songs nightly! You are a part of my "musical" side of family, even though you're unaware. We love you, who you are and what you stand for, your family for sharing you with the world no matter the cost to themselves!
