My guesses
1. Someone like Sukuna is actually hallucinating for some reason.
2. Sukuna is close to death and is literally seeing Gojo's Ghost.
3. A cursed technique that creates illusions and fuck with Sukuna's head, thus creating an opening for an attack.

Speaking of Yuta, it just dawned on me that him ripping out the tongue from the second mouth after RCT decrease was a HUGE deal that isn’t talked about enough. Like even if Sukuna could still constantly chant I think the fight may have ended since the chants could essentially recover any other deficits Sukuna had. Huge move by Yuta

My theory is that kenjaku is the one who's keeping Sukuna's curse tools (hiten and kamutoke"the original") and Sukuna have to do something in kenjaku favor in order to get his 2 curse tools back(binding vow)
Dude I'm willing to bet that the one who said Domain Expansion at the end is Yuji. He's the one who has been closest to all this soul stuff in yhe story. His DE allows him to bring create a space where the souls can return and next chapter will show all the souls of those Sukuna has killed.

I don’t think it’s Yuji domain because sukuna does the domain hand sign right before
Insane theory. Yuji is the one who casted a domain after his black flash. Within his Domain he can summon the souls of people, possibly from the cursed realm, based off of certain conditions. As for his hand sign, it could’ve been concealed while gauging out Sukuna.

Been trying to post this on alot of you tubers channels. But YUJI is the one at the end who says DOMAIN EXPANSION. Sukuna isss doing the new hand sign but im certain yuji saw it and because the black flash he hit again with allowed him to open it. It is BENEVOLENT SHRINE, the place in which the souls can be brought to attack the soul of the targeted user. So this does confirm Gojo is dead, but gives us the fan service at the same time. Could be that the brother of Sukuna is also here in soul form and will ultimately cause him to lose his shiz and megumi will break free. Sukuna will fall, but now they gonna have to deal with merger megumi 😅

the way i see it one of the people on that last page hit the domain expansion. Either it was sukuna(doubt), gojo(doubt), or yuji (possible but he had a hand in sukunas stomach and i feel like he would use two hands for his domain). OR here me out, what megumi opened his domain 👀

The word for "ghost" used in this chapter is the same word Sukuna used in Chapter 237 when he was talking to Kashimo before transforming, so idk we've seen Sukuna call living people ghosts before. Maybe Gojo is back

I hope it's a ghost/spirit and not a physical revival of Gojo. Regardless of the execution, I think reviving Gojo is just a bad idea because he seemed so content to pass on and leave everything to his students and I don't wanna see that undone.
Outside of that, this was a MASTERCLASS jumping, Yuji and Todo always lock in and get shit done and Yuji tearing out Sukuna's innard is just so deserved
That's one thing that wasn't really a part of his actual conclusion in ch 236... He was talking about Sukuna more and didn't really mention the students. lol That was one aspect I found about his conclusion underwhelming.

Piggy backing off other comments but These could be reasons for Gojo showing up. 1. Sukuna is in a limbo state and is hallucinating.
2. Takaba is somehow involved.
3. Ui Ui swapped someone with Gojos body.
4. Gojo is truly back due to either a binding vow OR Shoko and Yuta healing him together with rct.
5. Could be Kenjaku but MAJOR EXTREME Doubt.
Not just Mahito, but also Hanami. So every fight Todo has been in with Yuji, he has faked out a curse and lead to a black flash for Yuji
I think Sukuna's just seeing things. Possibly from the brain damage, or a result of him breaking a binding vow. Either way, the word vision to me says there's there's no one actually there. If it is someone though, I assume it's Yuta copying the six eyes. Even if he can't utilize them properly, Sukuna's gonna see him as a threat and become even more distracted than he currently is.
Maybe Gojo put a binding vow on himself to live with his homies in exchange for being the strongest

I think Gojo has returned but what he once represented died, being 'the strongest' which is why it says 'ghost of the strongest'.
If thats the case then Gojo should finally be able to answer Geto's question of who he really is for himself.
What if Gojo planned all this the whole time. So he pretended to be dead while keeping his heart /brain alive by pumping his own blood then waited for the perfect time to activate Rct completely when Sukuna was at his lowest and then switched with the Crow that appeared
What if they snatched Gojo’s body right before he fully passed away and then killed him without using cursed energy? That would mean this could possibly be a cursed spirit version of Gojo similar to Naoya. Don’t know how I feel about this being true but it’s just a thought that popped into my head
I think binding vows are over powered and every sorcerer should be using them to make themselves stronger. Just look what todo did in this chapter he used one to make his CT stronger at basically no cost.
Agreed. That’s my biggest problem with binding vows. That more characters don’t use them at all, for no reason
@@TheEternalFlame57 agreed I think binding vows are the most exploitable aspect of JJK's power system. one scenario I think about often regarding binding vows is the question why doesn't anyone stack binding vows as far as we know there's no limit to how many binding vows you can make with yourself and the only penalty for breaking them is losing what was gained which is a nothing penalty because you can just make another binding vow or just make the same binding vow twice after you lose it. So why not simply stack as many binding vows as you can. Especially since we're fighting sukuna right now.

2. Gojo actually returning due to some type of binding vow OR from being rct healed by Shoko &/or Yuuta
3. Sukuna literally just hallucinating

would be funny if that is someone from way back in the heian era, maybe theres some other guy he fought back then that give him ptsd
the characters should be really try getting as much benefit out of binding vows as possible. for example instead of a character making one beneficial binding vow how about they try to make more than one of them?

As much as I love a vibraslap being Todo's workaround (I played percussion from elementary school to graduation), I'm scratching my head on the logistics here. You play the vibraslap by just smacking the ball, not hitting the wooden block with it. It's actually designed to not bend down that far. Gege got a nuclear physicist for Divine Flames but couldn't ask a high school band nerd how a vibraslap works?

I will say I don't believe Gojo is back to fight Sukuna in a full on rematch. I believe he's back to ensure Yuji finishes the job as a Yuji currently has his hand in Sukuna's guts (pause) and trying rip anything out. Based on prior hallucinations from prior characters who died in this series the ghosts they saw were typically in a panel with a complete white background. Gojo is surrounded by dust and smoke in this panel. I don't think it's Kenjaku in Gojo's body as Kenjaku was dealt with by Yuta practically on the other side of Japan (head was sliced off and stabbed for good measure) so I believe he's out of the story. I believe Gojo is back narratively because Sukuna now being the closest we ever have seen him to death's door might activate the merger and it will be Yuji, Gojo and the remaining sorcerers left to fight the Tengen Merger.
Also give my boy Yuji some love he's been putting in the work (albeit with help) and he's arm deep in Sukuna's guts (pause) and now everybody dropped him as soon as we got one little panel of Gojo returning.
if gojo is back that is just crap, you telling me you're so scared you waited until Sukuna is weakened more to show up, nah bro what i really think is happening is Sukuna for the first time is being pushed to his absolute limit, people might need to get ready for another Sukuna reveal, he could finally be backed into a corner, which might make him use the unspeakabkle or do the unspeakable, eat someone or reveal his technique.
