I just started watching your channel, so I don’t know how you feel about literal gourmands - but DUA is a dupe company in the U.S. that clones a lot of expensive perfumes and iconic formulations of perfumes (like the original version of Hypnotic Poison). They also have their own original creations, including lots of gourmands. They have a scent called Banana Foster that is supposed to smell literally like the dessert. I want to try it so bad as most banana scents are very fleeting and DUA perfumes are very strong.
yes I’ve seen lots of American CZcamsrs talk about Dua! I like some gourmands but as with many perfumes, I’m pretty fussy!
After Eden juicy apple and the lychee one, I'm cautious 😂
These are nice enough but not AMAZING. Three of them are more in the realm of the Eden pefumes than the other Kayali's and one is orange blossom so more mature. Hopefully peoples reactions will inspire more banana notes from other houses though!
I’m pleased you posted this. As I love Kayali and have many fb’s of them . Sparkling Lychee was my scent today and I used Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar earlier in the week . I’m contemplating getting this set , but there are other scents higher in priority on my wishlist.
You have tried Fantabuloso with the banana note from Lush right ? And did you see Lush are doing a summer sale oddly ?
yeah! lush sales are so rare that it’s surprising- the Bridgerton perfume was already on sale. I wonder if sales are down and that’s why they’re bringing back some old favourites?! sadly never got to smell Fantabuloso - the oakmoss put me off forking out for a bottle on eBay but would love to smell it! ånd have a banana note in Sand which is lovely
@@skinscentsforfusspotsI think it’ll be because sales are down. But the old favourites they have brought back are products that have been on the retro wall that’s in various anchor stores ( such as my local ) for quite a while . People complained , so they brought the retro wall online so to speak.
I don’t pick up on much oakmoss in Fantabuloso, I enjoy it. I have issues with performance in Sand and a lot of the Andfragrance perfumes:/
I live in UAE and I never got the hype of Kayali perfumes. They smell overly sweet and not at all unique. UAE has some amazing perfumers, niche fragrance companies compared to this mess 😅 I feel Mona Kattan is just riding on Huda Kattan's success and churning out these forgettable scents 🤦
I’m not mad for Kayali but her perfumes do seem to be very mass-appealing!
@@skinscentsforfusspots yes sure, mass appealing only to the TikTok generation 😁 haven't seen many mature women who like classic or designer perfumes rush out to buy Kayali. I'd rather buy the new 4711 Niche collection 😁 the minute they are available in the Middle East 🥳
