There were a lot of requests for a Vth Legion song so here is âOutriderâ. Inspired mostly by the Horus Heresy novels âScarsâ and âThe Path of Heavenâ this is a Warhammer 30k based song from the POV of Jaghatai Khan. Like Citadel it was really fun to write a song set before the Siege of Terra and from the POV of a Primarch again. Where Dorn mourns the loss of what could have been and builds a wall to prepare, the Khan has anger at the end of the Great Crusade and prepares by getting ready to charge head on into the war.

Really good song. Glad to see this go back towards your style i like. If you haven't read warhawk you need to immediately. And in solar war jubal Kahn has an amazing scene v abaddon. Hope you revisit the white scars with some form of Mongolian instrumental put in one day. Keep em coming.

On a side note, here's a song suggestion you didn't ask for: Kharn's fight with Erebus. While they didn't say much, there's plenty they could have said, and the sentiment of "get up" is just asking to be a chorus.

Iâm at 14 songs now so that would be more than enough for a regular album. If thereâs interest in the future Iâll do some kind of physical release. For now I guess my Warhammer CZcams playlist and Spotify playlist are the closest to having an album.
On that note the original plan was to do the 18 legions and have an album called âLegionâ with 2 silent/hidden tracks.

This song wasnât planned at all. I wrote the music a long time ago and while reading Scars and Path of Heaven the lyrics just flowed out. They perfectly matched the tempo and rhythm of the backing track. Thereâs still a lot of White Scars songs I can do since this only covers a small period. Some Mongolian Speed Metal will be in order then.
â@LorcanWard Please NO speed metal. This style was already excellent. Its a good song. Just add some Mongolian influence. I got into white scars through a friend from inner Mongolia. Speed metal is too on the nose and not the best genre in my opinion. Mongolian influence is the key to representing proper.

Lorcan Ward, your songs are really good. The only wish I have is that you never use AI "artwork" in these videos. That is all. So many 40kTubers are using those AI "artworks" in their videos now it's suffocating. Again, I thank you for these great contributions to the fanbase.
Thanks! I will never use Ai in my project, not for music or artwork. I find it strange Ai has been so welcomed by many in the Warhammer community. It's a hobby/setting predominately built on inspiring creativity with absolutely no shortage of artists and writers. It's banned and heavily criticised on most places like Reddit, Facebook, Discord etc forums but CZcams isn't something that can be moderated like that.
