What if they let you choose armors when you hit red. Instead of you automatically upgrading to red, Choose between red and gold armor. You are choosing between the healing benefits of gold vs the extra 25 shield. And since its end game when you are choosing normally, your inventory (batterys vs cells) will help you decide on which armor to take.

I really like this. I'm glad to see devs interacting with the pro scene.
I know I'm not even through the video but if these rundowns are consistent then they will be amazing. They'll help players keep up with Algs if they don't watch it all the time I'd say. (As an edit, I think the evo changes will primarily be more worry some for edge teams. A lot of them spent time crafting evo and heals to play edge of zone, but no more crafting medkits or crafting evo might even end the playstyle.)
The evo change is great and its easier to get evolved
@@salvest3rr It is in pubs and ranked. But for things like Algs, I've not found it so easy. Now I'm no pro player but I have enter scrims for tournaments that have a similar flow to competitive and though I'm yet to enter this season I doubt it would be so easy in them. However only time will tell how we can adapt.
Yeah maybe blue to purple is gonna be rough in comp but just getting blue is very quick open 2 or 3 class bins and scan a care package@@darkalexander9158
Actually reverse should be true. Zone teams should be worried because playing zone/landing middle map means you have to leave your spot to farm evo, which is counter productive. Playing edge allows you the freedom to farm evo while rotating into zone
getting blue evo is free if u have a console or becon just open one or 2 special bin after and u got it
main problem is gona be getting purps if you dont wana fight and you land in zone or play hard zone you gona have blue in late game which sucks@@darkalexander9158
This was really a fun watch. Raven and John are both very smart and explain the game in a nice way. Stella was leading the convo very good too. Good job everyone and hope we can see more videos like this. Maybe get pro players too ?

In a different world I think people would use more picks that they feel used to. Thats kind of the point to playing a BR like apex. You have so many choices and different counters to making a team combo work. Certain characters together make for a better comp. Right now everyone is sticking to picks they think can be comfortable with to win. That’s good an all but that’s also playing scared cuz you’re not comfortable with that legend. Pros will have to adapt. Certain compositions get dubs so for now just experiment. It’s about having the right guns and right rotation as well, to end up with good enough luck to take the win. Gibby rampart crypto or seer Maggie caustic. Two skirmishers and one beacon person all these kinda of choices.
Raven only speaks on what he knows. Love how serious this is for him and that he is successful in it!

I’d honestly be down if we just removed red armor. I already like that more fights are blue and purple, and I’ve never liked fights where everyone is red.
Besides Catalyst, many legends with Tac/Ultimates "upgrades" in the tiers has an upgrade option both in tier 2 and tier 3, allowing decisions to lean into a "super" ultimate/tac, or something more balanced. Not only was Catalyst hard nerfed, she doesn't even get that option. Her wall length OR duration should be moved into the first tier upgrade, allowing us to take both wall upgrade options if we want.
The whole point is so you can only pick one, catalyst is one of the strongest legends in the game

I look forward to shotgun meta. I still wish they'd micro nerf aim assist though. Maybe .55, eh? 😅 Something to give them fewer automatic one clips. I get one PK shot off in the time it takes a controller player to one clip me with 3 bursts from a prowler. 😂
Aim assist was nerfed when you enable 120fps on console. Everything pc is .4 aa.

Well they ovbiously gave him access to the info. It's not really a red flag since it's a new season and there is a 3 week break for ALGS everyone has enough time to figure things out.
@@adi331 they make it seems like Raven was gonna basically teach us all about how the game it's gonna play out from now on, but the more you watch is clear that he is just a knowledgeable guy giving his educated guess about what's good and what's not.
