@marinaiv3039 Depends really on your hair type. Also if it's bleached,or coloured...mine said it's enough 1-2 times/year. I can see and feel on the ends when I need haircut. I'm sure you can see and feel too. If you want to grow your hair trimming every 2 months is much. Basically what grew out will be cut off. I use hair oils and I think it's the main reason my hair grew healthy and without having to trim often.

Your hair are the most fragile when they are wet because depending on how porous they are they can absorb the water, which makes them elastic and prone to breakage. Trimming doesn't make your hair grow faster since they grow from your scalp, and not from the ends.

As someone who actually naturally has thick hair that is difficult to manage, here are my tips.
First of all, I wash my hair every 3-4 days and I shampoo my scalp twice. Then, I go in with a conditioner but I leave that in my hair for a minute or two. However, if I’m shaving, this is the point where I’ll shave so that I can let the conditioner sit in my hair and deeply moisturize it. Finally, wash it off, clip up the hair, and wash my body. I usually do a cold shower for like 1-3 minutes so that it also rinses my hair and closes the hair follicle.
I only ever blow dry my hair for special events or if I’m diffusing bc I have wavy hair, and that’s usually only less than 2-3 times a month. I usually use a brush to define my waves and scrunch in some curl cream into the ends of it. I use a towel to scrunch out excess water and stuff and I use a claw clip on the top of my head so I can get volume so my hair doesn’t lay flat.
Regarding the video, this is such a scam like I’m not trying to be rude or anything but this is so fake. The actual tips in this video isn’t that bad and again, everyone’s hair type is different. If you want someone who gives actual good hair tips, follow Audrey Victoria. When I started haircare, she did an amazing job educating me about the importance of hair care and how to actually properly maintain your hair. I get a lot of compliments from people bc of how shiny my hair is and how I don’t really have any noticeable split ends (this isn’t bragging this is just according to other people). So please, don’t be scammed by this and follow Audrey she’s great!! ❤️

    Step 1: be genetically blessed.
Yeah us oily scalp people can’t do this. I need to wash my hair again already the day after I washed it, a hair mask that close to the roots (and even just on the mids and ends) would weigh my hair down and make it even more flat and oily, and scalp massages just increase my oil production like 10X. My scalp produces so much oil that America would invade me for it.
(And no, I tried the whole ‘avoid washing your hair for a few days at a time for a few months cause that’ll stop your genetically overactive oil glands from producing too much oil’ thing, and that doesn’t work if you’re just naturally a heavy scalp oil producer.)

If I use a hair dryer I use a heat protection gel(Redken BigBlowout, more affordable is syoss keratin heat, elvive dream lengths, but this is more heavy,so not that good for fine hair).I also use rosemary essential oil or mixed with my shampoo or diluted with jojoba, argan, castor oil...(it's enough 1 oil as well) two tablespoons of your carrier oil with two to three drops of rosemary oil. Apply the mixture to the scalp and “leave on for an hour before washing. You can ask any questions you want and I help if I can.

People wash their face everyday from the fear of dirt and oil causing acne. But the trend now is to add more oil to the scalp but it already has natural oil. The scalp can get its own type of acne that can actually cause irritation and hair loss.

Although some of these methods may be good, the whole washing your hairdryer every three days may not be good for some hair types or specific conditions. On top of that if you suffer from hair loss or thinning it is good to go get your horomones checked. Also brush hair from ends to roots to prevent pulling.

I have an interesting question that I would really appreciate your answer.
Is that Rosemary and carrier oils enough for a natural treatment or do you suggest Redensyl - Procapyl Capixyl serum?
Personally i prefer Rosemary oil method.

Since I wash it twice a month, I really only use clarifying sham to prep for Olaplex, and to remove buildup like 2-3 times/ yeah. D’fferent Strokes for different folks… but no one should clarify weekly!

I have an autoimmune disease called hashimotos so I have issues with hair thinning and hair loss and have started noticing semi bald patches appearing at the sides of my head especially which concern me and make me feel self conscious. I also workout every morning so have to wash my hair after a workout otherwise it’s very limp and greasy (I have fine hair). Is there a work around for people who exercise and need to wash their hair? Thank you xxx

OILING TIPS: if you’re going to oil your hair, do not use straight up essential oil. rosemary essential oil needs to be mixed with carrier oils. look into your hair type before trying any hair care tips. example: oil may be too have for your scalp, so you have to adjust this
