If you want a really fun build for Outbreak, pair it with Void and Chromatic Fire. Crit kills with chromatic equipped give an elemental explosion. For void, its weaken/suppress. This means that your nanites do more damage as the enemies have less health
Onslaught slayer build
It’s just Weaken for Void. Arc is good too cause the blind effect will make enemies stand in place and let you hit crits to make more nanites. Not to mention Electrostatic Mind giving you Ionic Traces off kills on arc debuffed (blinded) enemies

I think the most impressive thing is how many times Cross said Rewind Rounds and how it sounded different, but not wrong, every time.
With Prismatic getting both sides of the bar filled from kinetic damage, and that fragment that buffs the amount... pure insanity. This gun will be wild with the amount of build crafting involved. People wanted a Siva sub-class, so how about a build centered around"The Siva Weapon" and mixing it with our paracausal power? The decisions by Bungie are massively positive right now.
Mfs say "the lore ended siva with the destruction of the replicate chamber!" Then forget that there is no lore as to why the scorn and taken have access to stasis. Like bro, siva literally can come back with no lore lmao just infuse darkness with siva from our outbreak perfected and that's it
There actually are mentions of why the scorn and taken have stasis, it's because those now being controlled by powerful Darkness entities (Xivu, the Witness itself, Rhulk) were given those abilities. Admittedly this was mostly communicated through throwaway voice lines and less direct implications over the course of year 4, but there is still a reason for it.

@dylanholm9995 It's really not pointless. It would give us the final 3rd subclass elements. Prismatic is supposed to be the guardians being able to use both darkness and light at the same time. But there is no balance with 3 light subclass elements and 2 darkness subclass elements, so we'd need a 3rd darkness subclass. And it would have to be red or yellow.
You don’t need to use Arrowhead Brake with this weapon. Fitted Stock already maxes the recoil to 100, so you can use a different barrel for better range or handling as you prefer.
also its recoil pattern performs like auto rifles do for some reason, so it naturally gets more stable and super easy to use
@@aryhon6222 it was specifically coded as a auto rifle in Destiny 1. Just like how graviton lance is coded as a scout rifle.
I logged in, went straight legendary 0 hour and forgot to get the quest. Picked up the quest and did it again and realized I didn't do the siva clusters. I did legendary 3 times this week😅
I heard you should just use tac mag over extended mag because it only provides one extra burst at the cost of reload.
I've tested it, if you land all of 42 shots, and so on... You should get a total of 144 shots!! I hope that somebody can relay (btw with 45rpm should do like 105 shots)
My buddy got stuck down at second switch so I used salvations grip as he jumped to force his way back up into the duct
Very nice. I went past the second switch in excitement and couldn’t get back up. There’s not enough room to stand when you jump up cause it’s a ducking-tunnel. Tried grappling with and without eager edge and nothing worked

You can back out and come back in and it will spawn you right before that area

There's certain raids and exotic missions where I'm like "yeah..I'm not even gonna try to do this..." Crota, Pantheon, and this new Zero Hour are some of em for me...I still have PTSD from completing the original Zero Hour with the catalyst... Props to all yall that can get it done 😁
For real every time I log on I keep telling myself to muster up the courage to do this, but I keep procrastinating for no reason
You should definitely give them a go - we were a lot weaker when the previous Zero Hour came out, but not just that, the weapons/exotics are very good. And with the way Bungie treats content, you'll regret not getting them should they vault anymore stuff.

@@NFZKAZEit's a great little mission to keep running until you get it. It'll take time. I'm finally doing solo flawless runs
I finished normal solo and I am the WORST! Did the Hall of Champions puzzle and was like why not try the boss fight? Got em with 2 minutes to spare...Phoenix Wellock + Polaris Lance. I keep a few energy weapons handy for the first set of rooms which are void then arc shields. Graviton then Trinity then Polaris for the rest, Eager Edge in heavy until switching to Apex for the banner. Hang back in boss room and stun lock with polaris through damage phases. Once Brig drops, clear all ads and move to mid center between boxes and drop well. Timer keeps going unless EVERYTHING is killed so might as well get them first. Another tip for the legend outside platforming section...jumps till you get to the corner then Heat rises and Eager Edge swings. This mission kicks ass and is rewarding to practice. The Legend version is tight so don't be surprised if your FT has to make multiple runs. Oh and Mountaintop in kinetic of course. ;)

Rewind rounds is nice I tried it out but I like rapid hit more it feels abit more nicer personally. Nothing wrong with using either or.
I got around that reload by going for Aeon swift, on your mark, and if I remember correctly alloy mag (the one that increases reload when out of ammo). The only downside is that mag size feels low. So if you prefer a bigger mag you can still get by with the other things

Flip the bridge switch before you do the run for the 2nd switch set. Makes it much easier. No need to jump along the walls and possibly fall.

Rewind rounds works as intended, on supremacy with kinetic trimmers (if u dont spam your shots) you can reaload 100% of the mag because trimmers count as additional damage, so does the nanites

way too complicated to get the new add-ons for this i know its worth it but, i've failed the mission too many times to keep trying. thx for the review Cross
dont worry about it, as long as you have some decent add clear weapons and you can follow a map, you'll be fine. even if you cant do it solo, there are SO many people on all the different LFG platforms right now that, worst case, you get a free carry by two different solos that just needed an extra meat shield. i just watched a couple tutorials, and even my dumb *ss managed to make it with some help from LFG.

This is the one and only perk i cared about for outbreak
If you ask me, rewind is perfect (pun intended) for Outbreak, allowing you to do more damage than it used to. I love using this gun on the bosses and majors.
They also have a drawing on the wall in the vault area that shows the path as well that's how I figured it out last week

For the ship puzzle and the masterwork perks can you do the first an second one in the same week or will people who missed week one have to come back in two weeks?
We did the 1st and 2nd set of switches in the same run (bear in mind only the person that actually flips the set of switches gets the quest progress)
as for the puzzles we tried doing both sets in 1 run and it didn't work it we had to do each puzzle in 2 seperate runs
cross you can futs with salvations grip to get yourself up there but it is just better to restart

For a Primary, this is incredibly. Its ease of use and its heavy dmg-output is really outstanding. The only other contender being Touch of Malice for Boss-DPS makes me really wonder which one is now the better option🤔
With the lack of self damage and the addition of rewind rounds outbreak is probably better. Especially since it’ll be doing 9% more damage to bosses in the final shape while touch will be doing 9% less
Forgetting final warning is also a contender, hoping it gets a Catalyst
Final Warning. Don't forget Final Warning. It's in there among the top 3 highest DPS primaries in the game. Not sure if it's number 1 anymore but I believe it was beating out Touch of Malice.
Excluding Lucky Pants loadouts, Final Warning is still currently the highest dps primary. It does have less range than Outbreak Perfected and Touch of Malice, though, which is a factor to consider.
Outbreak Perfected literally just became the title. After years of wanting something other than Outlaw we finally get to see it in its most pure form. Thank you Bungie for this massive win. Now to get a team together that can finish it in time and get the catalyst and new intrinsic perk.

I honestly got lucky af doing the input in the ship area, i did it jn an LFG and they were moving on so I knew I didnt have much time before I had to keep going, so I just shot the ones I saw in order 😂 didnt even have time to look for the hologram and got it first try so I'm not getting another exotic drop for a month💀

For PvE and Controller, I think Smallbore and Steady Rounds and Rapid Hit and Fitted Stock are best!
Nonetheless,.you can craft one with Rapid Hit and another with Rewind Rounds, so you can use generally the former with Rapid Hit and change for the latter when Boss damage. Simple that!

If you're rolling rewind rounds, couldn't you also go with alloy magazine? Granted, you'll be reloading more often compared to extended mag or tactical, but it would be fast enough to where you don't really need to worry about a reload perk or mod. At least I think
You can get back up from the 2nd switch but its pretty annoying, if you jump up into the vent area you can place stasis crystals at your feet to stand in the vent and if you then place more crystals down on top of you it allows you to crouch jump up back into the vent, either that or when you go down there make sure to keep jumping if you fail it, you have to immediately jump off the ground once you hit it, if you stay on the ground for more than like half a second it will set your spawn point and then you are screwed.
Do you have to complete the legend mission in the same attempt as pressing the switches? Or can I do the switches solo and then go back later with a group to complete it?
I ran through and completed the switches and it progressed my quest without completing the mission. I was running solo so I didn’t feel like doing the whole thing lol.

It's funny seeing all the rapid hit copers try and deny how good rewind rounds is. Like I get that for years we all wanted rapid hit and it's still good, but rewind rounds are actually crazy how much better rewind rounds is on Outbreak than rapid hit

Bro, it’s not that deep. They have their purpose, and Rapid Hit is great for everything other than what Rewind excels at. Which is most other content.

I guess if you use Outbreak specifically for boss DPS (no one does) rewind rounds is the way to go... If you use Outbreak like a primary weapon to kill adds rapid hit is way better
@AppleGuy256 did you even watch the video? Noone is denying that rapid hit is a good trait but rewind is a catch all in pve because of how the perk process uniquely with outbreak. Noone can give you shit for liking rapid hit more because it's your weapon, craft it how you want but to say rapid hit is better is just statistically wrong. It might FEEL better with that higher stability and faster reloads but less time having to reload = more dps that's why perks like envious assassin and rewind have been getting so much love over the past few seasons

Don’t forget, kinetics are getting their intrinsic damage buff removed vs bosses, but since outbreak is dealing 20% more damage to all non redbar targets because of the buff, this means outbreak will be doing a net 10% more damage against bosses.
Additionally, you can use Whisper of Impetus or Thread of Ascent to refill the mag, meaning you probably would never have to reload during a damage phase
Thread of ascent with grapple won’t work since it’s getting changed in final shape to make it where you can’t shoot immediately after using the grapple so it would have to be threadlings or the snare one to even work. Per bungies new post today

As long as you have the quests from Ada, you can do the legend run and it will drop the intrinsic traits tied to those quests. Played with a guy today who got both The Corruption Spreads I and II from that single run when we finished it.
Im waiting for the mission to get vaulted and the perks to be unlocked via leveling the weapon.

Yes, you can get it still . If I remember right, it drops from a completion on legend difficulty

I thought Rapid Hit will boost it to new heights. This is just insane, and will get better in 2 weeks. I have a feeling we're gonna see it in worlds first, a lot!
Aztecross for the damage its going to do more than that at least to red bars. Its going to be doing roughly 28% more damage to red bars rather than the 24-25% you showed.
You only gave it ~25% extra damage (4777x1.25=5971).
RIght now its: 1 x 1.4 = 1.4 x damage
After its: 1 x 1.38 x 1.3 = 1.794 damage
So 1.794 / 1.4 = 1.2814 (i.e. 28% more damage than its doing right now)
So the damage numbers should be 4777 x ~1.28 = 6114
Rewind rounds probably doesn't have a true cap. The usual "cap" is typically limited to number of bullets in the current magazine but only because all other guns with rewind rounds solely deal their bullet damage through the bullets themselves. In this case 45 of them. But this is the first pulse rifle with rewind rounds that can hit the target more times than bullets it has in a magazine. Therefore you're actually doing something like 55/45. It then grants you 33 bullets back based on hit landed. Not necessarily just the bullets from the magazine but hits connected before the gun would force you to reload. So not really a unique version of the perk but a unique way that outbreak is able to utilize the perk.
