In Canada we had an "Environment" Minister for the Conservative government who, when asked about the Oil Sands responded "Full speed ahead!" and he wasn't talking about the Environment. They are shameless. Also, "You need to live in the vicinity!" "But I do!" "How far away?" "Seventeen miles." "Sorry, the cutoff is 15 miles." "Hey! I live within 15 miles!" "I meant 15 kilometers."
"Well I live two blocks away from the mine, can we have a conversation about this please?" "Sure, no problems, please report to your local council to lodge a formal complaint" "Okay, where's that?" "At this address here, 16 kilometers from the mine" "Hang on you're not going to claim I'm too far away from the mine when I arrive there are you?" "Well I don't know, Brian, I don't work at your local council" "You just fund the local council" "That's right yes" "And you tell them not to let anyone complain about the mine there?" "Well lets not jump to conclusions, Brian"
The Minister against the Environment fits right in with the rest of the Abbott cabinet, such as the Minister against Social Services, Minister against Communication, and Minister against Women.
Clarke and Dawe on the irony of Greg Hunt our environment minister in allowing mining to expand and create more pollution is clever as usual and fun to watch while making the very relevant point. What is our environment minister protecting! Not the environment that is for sure.
I love how smart these two are! They are so satirical and illustrate what was happening beautifully. I wish we'd had this programme showing in nz where clarke was originally from!
Brill-yant! And you think my spelling is wrong well the joke's on you coz I checked the same Wiki that the minister gets his environmental information from.....so it must be trew.
Why is it that every time i watch one of these videos it always suggests me to watch their video on Malcolm turnbull. Clearly they are trying to say something about malcolm.
"Up to quite possibly as many as, may be, quite possibly, perhaps 100,000 jobs"
"How many jobs are you absolutely certain about?"
"12"!!!!
Depressingly accurate, but beautifully done.

God we are closer than one would think.

Don't forget about the non-Minister for Science, or is that the Minister for Non-science?
+Stevie-Ray The Ministry for Magic?
You misspelled communism
Looks like Greg Hunt has watched the video, hence the one dislike

"...with great respect...with overweening respect, that's complete piffle". Too bad nobody talks like that anymore.
You missed the point
Brilliant as always . Well done
Replace "coal mine" with "Keystone XL pipeline" and it still works.
Love the way Bryan says Greg Hunt's name so quickly. Try it yourself, but be careful there are no kiddies about...!
too sad and too true
Wonder how Mr hunt feels to be complety useless, a receptacle for Tony's hand whenever he needs more coal mines?
Yes - exactly.
sickening really. top job C and D. 👍
I think Clarke may be legitimately laughing at 1:20.
yes!

I think people in Australia might have Different views on the environment after the current fires
