I was psyched to see you both return with this edition of the tag :D I feel like you always surprise me with some of your choices, which is fun and keeps me on my toes. I love when you bond with a deck through the tough, powerful or magical things you've worked through together. I feel that infuses a connection beyond any recommended bonding practices. The ritual tarot seems to be really capturing the tarot community lately, so it's been interesting to hear everyone's why. Soft scenic is a great term btw, and I love what you said about the tarot retaining some secrets always.
I did similar to you with several decks being mixed in together or considered one deck - that totally counts as one. I will die on that hill, lol.

@Garden Goddess Tarot hot iron and brown paper... blot that candle-wax off. Then WD40 it, throw it all in the washer. Voilà! Clean.
I guy in my 20's who liked to wear burgundy and/or purple velvet trousers, gave me this tip. He lived in a place with no light bulbs. Ofcourse he did. 😂

Hi Theia, a "silent" follower and subscriber, such a fun video to watch and get energised. I just wanted to let you know that yesterday I received the Hellenic Oracle + expansion pack which I have been coveting since it came out, I wasn't sure how import duties etc were going to be, as I live in Amsterdam (NL) - MPC customer service assured me that it was not going to be the case. You can imagine the expectation and waiting desperately for the deck to arrive directly to my home!😅 It was a happy homecoming from work yesterday! It's gorgeous!!! 😍My astrology consults are very much connected with the Greek Mythical archetypes which help me tell the story of their chart to my clients :-) Sometimes I forget some of the myths and your deck which is exactly what I needed! will be so helpful to reflect and who knows, I might pull it for a client at the end of the consult. My number one Indie deck is, hands down, The True Black Tarot. The Dark Mansion Tarot is number two, my copy of The Wild Wolf Tarot because that is my first ever Indie deck, The Wayward Dark Tarot, The Pacific Northwest Tarot, Into the Unknown: Final edition Tarot, The Tarot Timeless: Third Edition, The Interim Tarot, Way of the Panda Tarot and The Precious Possum Lenormand Deck. These would be my top 10 indie decks. I love all my indie decks, but I would grab these. Q

Not sure what you were meaning when you refered to the "moral character" of a creator. What's that about?
Duck Soup USED to sell an Oracle deck called Golliwog Oracle based on the the stories of Florence Kate Upton. The stories are pretty charming, but the actual doll is problematic in the US. If you look it up you will see right away why its so problematic. Think Song of the South. The other issue is he could be pretty combative when people would reach out to him about the deck, and there are those in the tarot world who actively try to cancel whatever he attempts to sell. I know him a little, and I can say that he is in no way a racist or prejudicecd, and I really enjoy his kitchsy style. I think he really enjoys early 20th century childrens story books and made some oracle and tarot deck based around those stories . Unforetunately he failed to read the room with the Golliwog Oracle, at least not right away, and some people were understandably pretty upset about it .
