      I agree and feel comfortable with him. As a English only speaker, I struggle with grammar. I do recall a poor quality approach in how my classmates and I were taught in grade school. I am 55 years old and have managed to improve most of my knowledge but I still need so much more improvement. I hope to have found a home here so I can help my 13 year old son as well who struggles with learning.

      Verbal noun is a noun formed from a verb but acting as a NOUN
      Arrive(verb) arrival(noun)
      Hesitate(verb) hesitation(noun)
      COMPOUND NOUN-two or more words joined together to form a noun
      Example:
      Boy(noun)+friend(noun)=boyfriend
      Black(adjective)+board(noun)=blackboard
