Don't need it
Demo port was fine, got some crashing and gpu problem but it was fixed with updating to latest driver. There are some stuttering when the cutscene went to pre-rendered video but it was far in between, the cutscene itself is locked to 30fps which is a shame but modders already fixing it. Oh right the fps limiter also sometimes broke and cause stutter too (just like in FFXIV.. how strange). It has all the upscaling tech built ini so it is much better than FSR1 that PS5 use and the graphics and accessibility options are well done. Overall it is a fine-enough effort and they are already releasinh patches to this demo so I’m certain the full game would be better! 😊
Yea so far it’s looks good for a pc port even tho it’s a demo I played and completed it on ps5 but it’s nice that I can play on the go with my gaming laptop
I know this game's been pretty divisive, but I actually really enjoyed the overall exprience of the game that I've played so far within the free Steam demo. I guess it's because I grew up playing games like Devil May Cry 3 and Final Fantasy X, on the Playstation 2, so I've always appreciated both turned based JRPGS and action style games. The fact that this game blends those two types of games together, where you have the action style of a DMC title, mixed with the story, lore, characters, and world building of a Final Fantasy title, makes this in my opinion, the best of both worlds, and I'm so glad I stuck it out for a year of no spoilers just to get a proper authentic port of it on PC without having to pay $500 to the Wizard Sony just to play this one. I apprecate the fact that the base game is $50 and the $70 version comes with all DLC. That's better than buying the console, the base game, and THEN the dlc. I actually did play the first 5 hours of the game at a friend's house about year ago when the game launched, as well as completed the FF16 event in FF14 right before Dawntrail, so i played that entire expansion decked out in Clive gear. I've honestly had blue balls for this game for a year, and it's about time I blast myself into the stratosphere with this one. Give it to my boy Torgul!

50 bucks for a year old game, eh.
i tried to not look at anything ff16 cause i waited for the pc port and wanted to go in knowing nothing at all
then we got the 16 event in ff14, so the good ol' fomo ruined that for me and now i dont care about the game...
maybe i'll buy it when i can get a key for a tenner or when its on sale for 20bucks, my hype is gone though, sadly (yeah i know, womp womp)
good for everyone that's been looking forward to it though, hopefully everyone hits the specs required

Though, the FF16 event didn't reveal anything that wasn't already made available in trailers and whatnot
