Woah I totally disagree with the comments. To me: this is what it looks like when an extrovert is JUST BEING FRIENDLY. And those high squeals and fast talking is from being nervous (interviewing someone for only the 2nd time) not because she's flirting.
She could totally think he's a great catch, but not right for her. She's SUPER religious and he's more casual. They don't quite match for a serious relationship. 🤷🏼♀️

I went on a first date with a girl who paid for her own food. We've been in a relationship for 2 months. So it's different for every person.
@Courtney Green She's the one who asked for a second date, so no she always saw it potentially going somewhere.
Edit: We went to a restaurant where you pay at the beginning. I don't know if that makes a difference.

Madi is clearly ministry minded,she loves Jesus and proclaims Him. Connor seems like a great guy but his path doesn’t seem centered in Jesus. Just an observation, but not in this or Jeanine’s podcast did he mention anything about a Jesus centered relationship.

Madi is most definitely hyper excited-nervous in this interview, which is showing in her exuberant volume. I'd like to hear more about Conner's relationship with Jesus, in order to learn more about the true character and convictions he holds. Conner appears to show calm consistency, which is a beautiful trait in a man.

I will always offer to pay. That doesn’t mean I’m not interested or into a guy but if I insist on paying after he says no, THAT is when I’m not interested. Because in my mind I don’t want to feel like I owe him another date.
This was exaaactly what I was thinking to myself-I was like hmm what’s my aggressive-ness level when it comes to paying...and realized I INSIST if I know it’s not going anywhere; and if it’s a situation where I feel guilty because they’re so NICE but it’s just not it, I’ve literally insisted my way into paying the entire bill. Thrice that happened. Hahaha I need to just focus on the splitzies

@@tazzel10 if you’re wondering how to go about it, I’d say the easiest way is to get your card out when it’s been decided that y’all are finished with eating/any drink orders. Whip it out when the bill is put on the table, and I’d hope/always expect the guy to insist on paying in full. Especially if it’s the first date and he asked.
@@Hmy8799 I definitely agree with this or even just simply ask if he wants to split the check or wants you to pay. Most insist on paying.

Omg yes! Everyone ALWAYS makes fun of me for choosing a walk around the lake in Austin over dinner for a first date but it is way less stressful and you learn so much more about someone!

@@valleygirl6521 Peter claimed to have a faith on his season. Unfortunately he actually didn’t have a very strong one, if at all. I agree with you in the sense that she shouldn’t have stuck around when he did not demonstrate good character. She eventually did leave before being swayed back. I don’t think she’s a snot for having personal standards. Her choice.
@@moodsofkiwi9285 i agree with you but my hesitation comes in when she trusted peter when he claimed to have faith. He said he had faith, but did he show that through his actions? So many of his actions contradict how someone of real faith would act. In that sense, I think she shouldn’t have given peter a second chance by flying out to LA and should’ve just ended it on the show when she left the first time. I think she compromised her wanting to be with someone who loves jesus wholeheartedly and made excuses such as “he said he wants to grow in faith” without actually seeing it confirmed. She was infatuated with him as a person so much to the point she compromised part of herself and faltered in her stance. Love can be blinding I don’t blame her, but I do think its important for Madi to act how she preaches.
Same situation with Connor. I don’t know him 100% but if he is not wholeheartedly a Jesus follower and has the same vision in Christ as her then I really hope she keeps her word and doesn’t falter to meet the standards of others because “they’re cute they’re good person they’re hot”

Opening doors for women(or people in general, when going in and out of buildings) is just being polite, it’s chivalrous. It’s one of the main things that stood out when I was dating my husband, he also feels the same way about the first time he opened the car door for me and I reached over and unlocked the door for him. It’s small things but they make a big difference because you are letting that person know you are polite, you respect them and you are thinking about their needs as well. My husband still opens the door for me and it makes me feel so special every time! He’s also setting that up for my daughter for things for her to look for in her future mate. And for my son in how he should treat his. Polite, kind and thoughtful.

@@mrpat6349 Nah. I think I wouldn’t use the word shy but rather consent. The German culture works a lot around consent and personal space and that comes with its limitations in my opinion. But again there shouldn’t be generalizing here but on a wider range personal space in my opinion is something that poses a question of how should I approach someone

He seems like such a gentleman! A gentle giant! And he’s so handsome!!! Haha Maddie seems all giddy around him too. Maddie is a sweet, strong , and beautiful young lady. I’ve been a fan since I saw her on the Bachelor. I admired the way she stuck with her morals and convictions and made it clear to Peter’s mom that the show was also her journey to find love and not just Peter’s.
