I shoot all my videos on the Sony a6500 in 4K, with Sigma 16mm, 19mm & 30mm and 70-210mm f1.4 lenses and the Zhiyun Crane V2.
Simply put, that made me smile. Thanks, Matt.
Thanks very much!
Noob, your modeling skills go to 11!!! Someday, I dream to see this in real life. Thanks for all of the amazing shots, and the focus on so many of the cool details and subtleties!!!
Nicholas Barber If only I could count to 11. Thanks!
Thats the greatest place ive ever seen just bloody AWESOME dreams right there
He did an okay job.
Unreal. It is just missing some scale trucks with some scale driving now. Dream place.
We've got a few videos on here to show that part off!
He did such a great job on that course. Wish I could drive it.
I wish I could drive it too. But I'm terrible at that part! HA!
That’s a lot of talent and a ton of spare time. I don’t have either of those.
All it takes it time and patience!
Patients went out the window years ago. It took sanity with it. I hear they’re living in Mexico on a beach with my spare cash.
@@PhoenixRCCrawler Sounds like a nice time to check your life out and examine your priorities :)
Every time I watch this place I see something new great job pardonmyn00b.
Imagine driving there! I've seen new things every single time.
Yeay! Got the H.O.P. on the arrow sign. Looking great n00b.
Headquake137 Lots of love for the HOP. Thanks!
Headquake137
You have an AMAZING trail and scenery setup. Your shop!! Your shop was helpful for me in setting up one in a building I had on my property in Alvin Tx. Unfortunately we lost that place in Hurricane Harvey but it will be replaced after I find a place FAR from the coast! LOL
Again I will use your shop as a general layout for the next one.
It's like reading a post from a Rock Star. THANK YOU for your channel!
I don’t know how someone can hit the dislike button on this? So beautiful.... feels like holiday watching this 🙏 thx
Some people love to not love things by not liking them. ;)
Fitst thing I thought,
" Somewhere else in this yard there is a amazing garden rail road" . Watched twice and I didn't see one. But if you ever expand or do some different terrain in the future might find some large scale ties and rail and make a section of trail an abandoned railroad bed. There are folks on here lamenting the lack of funds and talent. This is so well done and it really looks like a lot of fun! But I imagine that if you look much of it costs very little. I bet much of the wood was cut off and from that scrap wood pile that is always a next time to the dump thing. The local garden center for the landscaping. The big rocks and the arrangements of smaller ones the real sweat equity.
This is SMART ART with a plan a little sweat and a modest budget a couple bags of cement and wood that nobody wanted spread over a little time. I had a race track in my backyard in Colorado, granted a big backyard but I also had the Mayor's back deck looking into my backyard. So the two high banked turns became strawberry patches and the straights were the paths my two big dummy dogs had beat into hard pan. Right along the back patio it was red brick on tamped sand so they were tight and smooth. I'm sure the Mayor didn't know what I was doing but when the co-workers and all their kids showed up and barbacue fired up and RC-10s and Kyosho Optimas started winging around that track Mayor Kevin would sit on his deck and watch. It was some work and it took a couple of weeks but it looked like it was just garden paths around a big lawn. On summer weekends it became a fast dirt oval with a red brick strip like Indy. Last time I looked at Google Earth you could still see it.
300 block of Centennial Drive in Bennett Colorado.
Does the town of Smiggin's Folly and the camper have lights?
That would look so good at night with some crawlers with light bars etc. And is that a skeleton in the one rock slide looking area?
euphoria is all i have to say about this video. awesome video and amazing terrain!
It's truly the best in the world.
Could you imagine having to explain to your neighbors why you have a tiny hangman's platform in your backyard 😂
Badlands_RC To hang tiny men. And that’s why I built a fence so I don’t have to explain.
Driving video! please. That looks like sooo much fun.
There's a bunch already on the channel!
I have seen many scale RC’s. I have seen many crawling course. I have never seen a crawling course built to scale. Best part of the video is no RC’s to distract us from amazing detail! Thanks
This was all about seeing the park, in all it's glory! Thanks for getting that!
Spectacular detail! The two-story outhouse: epic.
Indeed, thanks!
Nice layout lots of details
Thanks!
Is that real? - twigs and moss. Love the "house" I could actually see someone living in something like that, or use as a hunting cabin. Looks like it'll be fun to go through!
Everything is real!
Relaxing and Dreaming 😍 Awesome
That was the intention! Thanks for watching!
Need a scale Toyota in there👍🏻👍🏻awesome job!!
There's another video featuring two, in this park, on this channel!
Definithly the most detailed scale park! So much to create it and keep it clean!!
It does require some work, but n00b is no stranger to meticulous work.
Scale Builder's Guild next video idea? Master class: create a scale spot 😇
A most excellent video of a most excellent place.
Thank you. I hate that ive seen this. Now i have to upgrade my little dirtpile track.
Wife is going crazy on my rc hobby, taking alot of space in our home😁
I'm only allowed 8x16ft. ;)
Looks like some real fun👍👍👊
Indeed it is!
every time i see it i fall in love :)
Brings scale to another level. Amazing detail.
Thanks!
Wow looks amazing!
Wow great video, I would say Yes it is the nicest off-road park for RC4WD I’ve seen..great job , monster ant lol at 540 ...the green barrel lol
For RC4WD? I don't get it.
Silly spell check .....nicest off-road park for rc’s ive seen rc4wd just a brand lol
Very cool !
Cheers!
That’s a phenomenal scale area. I can only imagine how much time and effort went into design and building it. Very cool video edit too
In n00b time, he spent five minutes building it. In our time, he spent four thousand years.
Can I come drive on it PLZ
That place is so sick yet so clean !!!
It fits right in With all the landscaping and it’s not an eyesore that could be in someone’s front yard in someone’s neighborhood and no one would be the wiser
Sorry, invitations are very hard to come by!
That's pretty awsome that's way bigger that the NScale that I'm in LOL
It's a tiny bit bigger than that!
Amazing..... love the camper home 😄👌🏻👍🏻
Cheers!
absolutely spectacular.. i knew this was a great trail from past videos. but to see it like this? Amazing. Thanks for sharing.. 👍👍👌
Happy to! Thanks for watching!
Awesome edit. Very zen like. Lost myself for abit 😎👍

Scale Builder's Guild who made it ?
The other half of the ownership of the SBG, pardonmyn00b.
Scale Builder's Guild ok
Though I truly love your videos this seems like one of those French art films lol. Thanks again next time add FIN at the end.
Oui, je vais le faire et fumer une cigarette en même temps.

Awesome looking coarse , very nice eye to detail would be heaps of fun to crawl on. Love to video work too mate nice job.
It's very fun to play on. Even better when you discover something you didn't see before.
Matt, that's quite an AWESOME Course! Can't wait to see something Run on it. Looks pretty challenging and a lot of fun!
Carmine 💥 ⛽
PoorManRC Check out my channel. I have dozens of videos with my trucks running there. (It’s my backyard)
PoorManRC Lots of running videos at Smiggin’s Folly on my channel. I’m the proprietor of Smiggin’s Folly. We did a few videos on the SBG channel too.
Wish I had the talent to build something like that.
Actually...I wish I had the time & money to build something like that! Amazing details.
Didn't cost much, he stole all the dirt. ;)
Wow!!! That was so fun to watch.
Thanks for watching!
WOW! I love the scale buildings! And those rock piles! And stream beds! And btw , was that a 2 story out house?!?
Sure was!
I swear there was an ant on the barrel to which my mind changed it to tarantula!!! I’m scared now,!
Don't be scared. Giant spiders are good for the ecosystem.
Loved this!! Attention to detail in the trails and the filming was great!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video Matt! The editor done a great job on that along with the camera man. He has an awesome place there.
Thanks Brad, this was a very fun video to film.
That is amazing 😆
Sure is!
It certainly is a tiny wonder land well done Mr N00b 👏🤤
Nicely filmed & edited Mr Thatguy👍🏻👍🏻
6 Dislikes????? What’s there not to like. There is always the green eyed haters I suppose 🤨
Haters make the world go round. Oh wait, no they don't. ;)
So awesome!
More than you know!
I may have to snag a few ideas;)
Have at it!
That's freakin amazing!
It is indeed!
I’ve got to mark it down ! There was an ant on an oil drum and the ant clearly wasn’t to scale 🤣 damn that place is beautiful, how many hours did it take too build ?? A small waterfall and stream section would be the icing on the cake...
Superbly filmed as well 👍
We grow larger ants here.
Way Way cool!!!! Was that a 2 story outhouse?? Looks realistic. Is that where you go in your mind?
Robert Browning that's a political outhouse. The politicians have the upper one and the lower one is for all the voters. As the saying goes, it rolls downhill 😃
I go in a toilet, like a normal person. I also wash myself with a rag on a stick.
Awesome video dude thanks
Thanks for watching!
this would be a great place for your team associated cr 12 / barrage shoot out. just saying. :)
Now you're talking!
what is the size of the entire area. Id like to see the scope of how much space this takes up.
Same here.
There is a smiggins folly Facebook page that has a great overview shot
I found one where he says things survived winter. thanks for pointing that out.
Overall area is about 625 sq ft
Simply stunning! Grim contrast to the few rock piles in my yard (of which I was very proud).
Wonder how much maintanance time it takes to keep the Taxes bushes tree-shaped?
Wouterb The trees and bushes are trimmed about once a month during the growing season.
Real cool place!
Sure is!
Scale Builder's Guild 👌
What about the trees? Are they bonsai juniper?
Dwarf Spruce I believe, trimmed.
Best ever
Cheers Doug!
It's Disney for crawlers👍!
Or is it Crawlers for Disney?!
Pretty cool.
Wonder how big it is.
Is it a 10 minute course.....then....
Yeah, it's big enough to spend a good half hour or so trying things. I've spent hours going over all the details.
Ya where is cilantro. Should be parked somewhere lol
Cilantro lives in another country.
Would have been nice to see a actual rc truck on there. I assume it’s 1/10 scale? Looks awesome though.
Go check out his channel, and enjoy many videos with trucks in them.
Where is this place?
Far, far away.
First 🙋. So cool!! Great work 👍👍👍👍 and great showcasing video
It's a nice place to play.
Can I come be the warden at the jail ? I have 8 years experience as a CO, 2 as an investigator, I will arrest and detain anyone who drives anything other then a TiyotE
You're hired Mike! Hahahaha We'll pay you in 9th scale dollerydoos.
Looks great but where are the cars? 🇳🇱😉
In about three other videos on this channel. ;)
Scale Builder's Guild thanks. Will check those videos. 😊😊
Is that your train layout
I wish!!!
Although i do think your track is pretty amazing, I do believe i am a contender for RC Scale track building, feel free to check it out on my channel. It is very good detail work however.
We'll check it out!
Who needs a 2 story out house. It's a joke. For the slow ones.
I'm slow. Hence why I always use the downstairs one.
Scale Builder's Guild. I feel like I do as well. At least feels like it.
Looks nice, but have no clue what the 'course' actually looks like.
You'll have to use your imagination, or the internet to find some photos of it on our forum.
:)
