I hope you never end up in a position in which your job (lying) Induce Pain and suffering to an injured Patient.... Good luck and oh yeah Don’t Follow the Health care practitioners down that Dark road , stop them, report them ,and Do NOT COVER FOR THEM. ALTHOUGH your job says otherwise, trust me stopping them in there tracks of malpractice. Would Help you sleep better at night. Don’t become a Victim of Defensive Medicine.......

Fell and broke my hip out of town. Was taken to ER at an unfamiliar hospital. Was very nauseous and nurse advised me paramedics had over dosed me on morphine was likely cause of nausea. Nurses also were the ones that told me I would be having surgery. Cell phone or land line would not let me call any family member. Met my surgeon after the anesthesiologist already had mask on my face and they took my glasses from me before having me sign paperwork, advised them I was legally blind without them, refused to give me my glasses back and told me to just sign paperwork. Wish I had known I could ask for an advocate. Apparently I had numerous so called specialists during time in ER. I fell and broke my hip but was billed for a respiratory specialist a Blood specialist list goes on and all kinds of tests I don’t remember them doing. But after surgery they sent in a nutritionist to discuss my issues with food? What issues, if hungry I eat if not I don’t. Hospitals are a rip off, they keep you drugged up enough so you don’t know what is going on while they ream your insurance company. Doctors are worse than lawyers in my book. Nurses a great but wish I had known I could ask for a patient advocate in lieu of family member that couldn’t get there in time.

Quality Patient Care means to patients: care that is Timely, Adequate, Individualized, Coordinated, Effective and Meets our Whole Person needs.
Who pays the Patient Advocate? The health care institution. Because that is who you will be loyal to -not the patient.
