- We are going to be refreshing our suspension room this winter and we ant your ideas. We mostly work on FOX and RockShox Suspension and Seatpost, but also do Ohlins, BOS, DVO and etc too. Tour includes our nitrogen charging set up and oil drain sink that we had custom made.

We really love this simple tool from @theAndreaniGroup
We service all @RockShoxSuspension and @FOXFACTORY kit and most suspension from @developedsuspension , @Ohlins and @CannondaleBicycles71
Cannondale are being very restrictive over parts for left, @CaneCreekCycling were too, but have recently lifted some of their restrictions, so we hope to add this service very soon.

Excellent. One can see you take pride in your work. Well done.
Thank you Kevin.
Very interesting. We all like to have a rummage. I just love a nice bike workshop, right tool for the right job 👏
I'm waiting for the words sloppy bushes and Hambini to enter the chat.
Very nice setup BTW im borderline envious.
Haha. Long shaft almost came out. Close one. 😂
I’m currently in the process of re-organising our workshop, if it ends up looking half as professional as yours I’m happy..
Let us know how it goes.
Man i'm jealous of your workshop ! I'm working on forks partly on the floor haha
A clean floor 😳
I’d say very few shops in USA have a dedicated suspension room, or a brake disc flat mount surfacing tool.most probably just send your shock or fork to a specialist, or tell you who to send it to.
That’s a real shame. What a waste of time.
Awesome setup. dear Santa pls, I've been an good boy.
I am sure people would like to know which tools these are and where to get them.
I see you have some Unior, Wera tools, Gyio shock pump, common option, another is Beto, these two brands is what most suspension brands use. I've not seen an orange bushing tool before.
Thank you
Wow! As an amateur the most fork repair I ever did was forcing the plastic slider back into the lower. The wheel was D-stroyed as it kicked 90 degrees on a root knob! I should have died in the ensuing crash! Not riding mountain anymore. Front wheel rebuilt by me and ready to go. Maybe flat green trail someday.
Thanks David
My dream shock room would have a dentist suction tool, borescope, permanently mounted CCTV or DSLR camera mount to photo/film odd jobs that are foreign or to document wear
Borescope is a good idea. It’s often hard to explain why we needed to replace air cans etc. Thanks Jane.
@@Mapdec they can be had for $40 too, some just pair with your phone allowing screenshots and emailed photos in seconds. Invaluable for all work, looking in frames or for internal cabling etc
Thanks Jane
Looks much cleaner than my garage when I service my fork.
Interesting point on what you do most. Trust me, it's one of the worst things about owning a SR Suntour fork is trying to find replacement parts...
Very true. I hate Suntour parts hunting.
I love it - the fine tools in the cabinet should go over in your drawers to be consistent. I hate paying a small fortune to but a kit when you only need the cruch washers and foam seals - could you provide a link to where you get yours in bulk?
It’s a company called ND Tuned.
Dream setup that! Need my lowers doing, and rear shock, but none of the service items seem to be in stock!!
Thank you. Yes. The world has got its stock holding wrong. Too much stock of overpriced new things, no stock of spare parts to fix things.
Would love to see more mountain bike content on the channel 😄
Planning a RockShox vs Fox vid. Wish me luck 😂
@@Mapdec incoming die hard fans of either brand. But to be honest, I've only ever ridden Fox so I can't comment on how RoxShox compares.
I have to ask why you need ear defenders for a stuck down shock, surely you just pump the shock up to the transfer port, equalise the pressure and slowly deflate? you have a hand dyno right there to help you.
Every now and then, it’s not that simple. Especially when a customer has already tried this method and made it worse.
@@Mapdec I've never come across that situation. I own a workshop specialising in suspension servicing for trade and retail, 20+ years never had that issue. Ohlins air shafts are about the closest to that issue but they release on the o-ring before the threads so the air comes out safely and with no bang.
Maybe we weren’t trying hard enough 🤷♂️
I know very little about MTB (except I don't ride mine much as I don't like dirty bikes 🤪) so this is really interesting to me. How often would you advise on servicing suspension. I have carbon Rockshock World Cup (SID) - dunno if it's any good came with the bike.
Is it also possible to change the length of travel on a shock?
A lot of ‘ it depends ‘ in there Kid, service often. Like every 50-200 hours of riding.
This shop is very sus
😁
Tip: Öhlins should be pronounced how the Swedish guy from Vital MTB says it. not a big deal, even their own employees say it wrong, but the swedes and Nordics won't. So far the only reviewer or mtb media guy that says it correctly.
You are actually saying Åhlins not Öhlins, the Ö is an Swedish letter, which is the same as Ø in Norway, and the sound in girl, bird, curl, must, bust, just and so on. So gørl, børd, cørl, møst, bøst
The English language uses the Ö/Ø sound a lot, but does not have an letter for it.
Öhlins end of the word is like eans in beans or leans, so imagine saying girl and leans with one L removed and as one word and without the G.
Wow. Thanks. That a lot to take in. 😳
