    Showing more off another interesting route that is available from AP, have seen the other route being run via a scenario by Alan Thomson, so aiming to get all three of these to give me the full scope of scenarios in TS. Thanks again for the very interesting run and look forward to the next one.

      Although the primary intention is to help others learn to drive without the HUD, or maybe teach someone something about the railway, I’m just grateful that people like my videos enough to watch them! Never in a million years did I expect this channel to grow the way it has. So watch away however you like, I’m just thankful that you’re here! :)

  • @CycloneGU
    @CycloneGU Před 3 lety

    Haha, no enhancement pack for the 156 because they made the full train model instead. That's the one that would run nicely along the West Highland Line, whether merged with Suburban Glasgow or not. Though I recommended merged previously for a drive to or from Oban since it's added on there and you can drive from further out than Crianlarich.
    The sounds for the 153 are still MIA, however, since the 150 also got upgraded from the sound pack. The absence is unfortunate. An EP would be nice since JT made that one and they probably don't like the 67 EP in direct competition with theirs, so enhancing their product might be preferred.

    • @PTGRail
      @PTGRail  Před 3 lety

      I'm considering a video on the West Highland Line in the not too distant future in a Class 156!
      As for the Class 153 sounds - if you use the original Class 150/153/156 sound pack, you can at least improve them over the default.

    • @CycloneGU
      @CycloneGU Před 3 lety

      @@PTGRail Yeah, the pack just isn't available now. And I don't see an EP coming for it in the future. So unless he includes the 153 sound upgrade with the 150 or 156, some of us will just have to live without.
      Note if you play the merged line that the West Highland Line South will have the radio token block flashing blue lights instead of what's on the route as released. I do not know if they function with the Class 37 from Fort William to Mallaig. So it's a worthwhile distinction if you note the existence of the merge to comment on the change in the merged route. If you play it, just note what was changed. =)
      I plan this drive myself one day as well. Will be long, so want to block out a time for it.

    • @CycloneGU
      @CycloneGU Před 3 lety

      @@PTGRail So I got an idea for you for a separate Fort William to Mallaig video. UKTS file 40266. New snow weather conditions. File 40269 is a scenario using it on the West HIghland Line (there's another one at night, 40276 I think), but stops partway along the route, which might be normal for freight. That said, it would be neat to see a passenger service also trudging through the heavy snow there. Or if you feel like it, stick that snow on your West Highland Line South journey. Or the Kyle Line should you do a video there. Might even fit the Glasgow and Edinburgh areas.
      Also, were you ever still planning to do Marias Pass like you said in 2017? Or the ChrisTrains journeys in the Netherlands mentioned in 2018? Just heard these comments watching them recently.

I am wondering if it is a fault with the sim and is there a patch for a repair or is it some thing i am doing wrong!

    • @Crimsonedge1
      @Crimsonedge1 Před 5 lety

      When its for a line speed higher than the current, you just get a sign post when the new higher limit starts but if its for a line speed which is slower than the current then you generally get a warning sign of the approaching speed change a set distance before the actual sign at the start of the new speed zone.
