    चविष्ट काळा चणा मसाला करण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
    • १ कप / २०० ग्रॅम काळा चणा
    • ३ कप पाणी
    • २ मध्यम आकाराचे उभे चिरलेले कांदे
    • १ बारीक चिरलेला टोमॅटो
    • ४ मोठे चमचे किसलेलं सुकं खोबरं
    • १ मोठा चमचा धने
    • १/२ मोठा चमचा जिरं
    • १/२ मसाला वेलची
    • १/२ चक्रीफूल
    • १/२" दालचिनी
    • ४ काळी मिरी
    • २ लवंगा
    • २ तमालपत्र
    • १ चमचा काळा मसाला
    • १ चमचा लाल तिखट
    • चवीनुसार मीठ
    • १ मोठा चमचा तेल
    • २ मोठे चमचे तेल
    • १ चमचा किसलेली लसूण (ऐच्छिक)
    • बारीक चिरलेली कोथिंबीर

    Let’s make delicious kala chana masala today. This is a very easy and simple recipe. We are making kala masala using fresh whole spices. It tastes similar to non veg. The spices used are in just perfect proportion. It not only looks tempting but also tastes super delicious. We already have seen kala chana recipe. This is yet another delicious recipe that you just can’t miss!! The masala that we are preparing in this recipe takes the dish to next level. You can try this recipe at home and write to me.     Ingredients:
    • 1 cup / 200 gm Chana
    • 3 cup Water
    • 2 medium size sliced Onions
    • 1 finely chopped Tomato
    • 4 tbsp grated dry Coconut
    • 1 tbsp Coriander seeds
    • 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds
    • 1/2 black Cardamom
    • 1/2 Star anise
    • 1/2” Cinnamon
    • 4 black Peppercorns
    • 2 Cloves
    • 2 Bay leaves
    • 1 tsp Kala masala
    • 1 tsp Red chili powder
    • Salt to taste
    • 1 tbsp Oil
    • 2 tbsp Oil
    • 1 tsp crushed Garlic (Optional)
    • Finely chopped Coriander leaves
    Method:
    • Wash chana really good and soak it in water overnight.
    • Drain all the water from soaked chana and transfer it into a cooker.
    • Add water, bay leaves, tomato and mix well.
    • Close the lid and cook on medium heat until5-6 whistles.
    • Heat up a pan on medium heat and add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, star anise, black
    cardamom, cloves and black peppercorns.
    • Roast it well together for just about 2-3 minutes and add dry coconut.
    • Roast it well together until coconut gets light brown color and transfer the mixture into a dish.
    • Heat up oil and add onion. Fry well until onion gets nice golden color and turn off the gas.
    • Blend the roasted mixture into fine powder and add fried onion.
    • Blend it together into fine paste without use of water.
    • Heat up oil in a pan and add garlic.
    • Adding garlic is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
    • Fry well until garlic gets nice golden color and add the blended masala.
    • Mix well and add kala masala, red chili powder and salt and fry together for about a minute.
    • Add the cooked chana and water and mix well.
    • Simmer the bhaji on medium heat for about 5-6 minutes.
    • Turn off the gas and add coriander leaves. Kala chana masala is ready.
    • Serve it with bhakri or chapati.
    • It goes well with rice too.
    • This bhaji will be sufficient for 4-6 people.
