Its london so its quite expensive. £22 for a single trim. I can get a trim for around £5-10. Professional job, includes appointment booking and just round the corner so im good

This kid in my school came up with this idea for a project in economics class it was the same concept but he called it “running cuts” or something like that this back in 2006 or 2007 so the idea was there already but he never went through with it I guess .

Being a mobile hairstylist is NOT legal thru the cosmetic art board in NC. However the barbers can be mobile in NC. I'm so proud of this guy. Does it have a bathroom? How do you do do with water?

Parking, cost of fuel, potential traffic violations and/or accidents. And u have to charge almost double the actual cost of a haircut at a barbershop. I love his entrepreneurial ideas but as a barber, unless the area is rural without barbershops and clients don’t mind paying extra then I cannot see it being profitable.
Hard enough cutting and keeping track of clients at a shop. I can’t imagine wut it would be like having to travel to them in between cuts. 🤷♂️ I could be wrong tho..

I respect it, it’s a good alternative. But like he said towards the end, some people like the barbershop environment, and I happen to be one of those people. I enjoy the banter and the convo in a barbershop. It’s not just about the barber for me, it’s the journey (I go in a different area to where I live), and the social experience. I hope this blows up though, it’s a really good idea.

A lot of barber shops encourage customers to book an appt before hand as this makes it a much better experience, but this is a great concept and will appeal to the younger segment of the market
Absolutely EXCELLENT combination of ideas. Concierge Barber Service + Adaptation of Uber/Lyft (Service-Travels-TO-the-Client) Concept + Adaptation of Custom Van Building. (Over the past 2-4 years, I've seen businesses in my region that offer mobile bicycle repair, car washing/detailing, car tire changing, & dog grooming... So why not mobile barbering? Well, it's probably going to be limited to barbering - b/c other forms of human hair styling & cosmetology will probably require too much fresh water consumption).
