awesome information man, love your videos. just bought a machine blind to knowing the difference between knives and carbides. i was totally disappointed with the productivity of the carbides and thought my machine was crap. after putting the knives on totally different. if your ever in Louisiana look me up i owe you a beer. have a super track sk140 have only been doing this about a year mainly residential stuff but have not tried knives... I’m 8 miles away from the beach how bad does sand hurt knives?? Hate the amount of back dragging I have to do to get a good clean product
It is like turning on a light switch going to knives. But you absolutely have to keep them out of the dirt rocks etc, to keep that sharp edge. I personally go with knives more often then not

Sand it really abrasive on knives have to be careful hitting the surface with them
