Xiumin is EXO's lead dancer and i think the reason you see him as the best dancer is because he always puts in that little extra energy in their routines. I swear sometimes i wonder where he takes all his energy from. if you watch some fancams of him, you'll see what i mean. Sadly though he is very underrated and never really gets appreciated as a great dancer by morst people.

Xiumin is a lead dancer of exo in general, one of the best so makes sense you'd think he's the best in the subunit
Fun fact: Did you notice how EXO-CBX has 6 backup dancers? With CBX there are always 6 backup dancers because 9 is a good number when it comes to formations in choreography, but fans think it's also supposed to mirror the fact that as members of EXO, even as a sub-unit, they are still part of the main group. EXO's main group has 9 members so, the 6 backup dancers are supposed to be a visual representation of the rest of the members of EXO. EXO-CBX was EXO's first sub-sub-unit and some think that SM wanted to create a way to make it clear that just because they are a sub-unit doesn't mean that they aren't still connected to everything that makes them EXO.
As you may know, CBX was formed because at the time Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin were the only members who didn't have any side projects. They were all in the gym working out together discussing what they should do while everyone else was working on other things, and their trainer suggested they form a sub-unit. So they took the idea to the company and SM agreed that they would make a good unit. Plus, CBX gives SM a chance to bring EXO more fully into the Japanese market. CBX focuses on the Korean and Japanese market. They are one of SM's most popular sub-units and they are so popular that they have held their own concert tour with just their sub-unit.
"Blooming Day" is part of EXO-CBX's Blooming Days album and there is one song for every day of the week. "Blooming Day" is Tuesday's song.
And just think, Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin aren't even the dancers of EXO. They are the main/lead vocalists of the group. That's what makes EXO so impressive. Even the vocalists can dance and rap. All the members of EXO can do it all.
None are main dancers, i think Xiumin is a lead dancer that's why! :D
And they all killed it to be honest! Glad you reacted to it, for me Blooming Day dance practice is one of the most intricate and amazing choreos ever.

Well, amongst all 3 of them Xiumin is the lead dancer of EXO, the rest 2 are main vocals. So you got that exactly right. Xiumin’s got smoother moves imo but all of them can definitely dance. Baekhyun is in all main dancers’ group for god’s sake and I don’t see him lagging at all

Fun fact about Exo cbx was the group was formed when their Trainor mentioned they should form a unit since they all have similar heights.

This is one of my favourite EXO CBX's songs and choreo.
Dance practice videos are for when they perform live stages. In Korea they have live music shows they perform on to promote the song - Music Bank, Inkigayo, MCountdown, The Show etc. The artist win awards based on certain criteria for that show. So the reason for these video is for practice and so the audience can see the dance without all the close ups etc.
EXO has some backstage of dance practice where they have the dance instructor working with them.
SM Entertainment has professional choreographers two main ones are ‘Kasper’ Kim Tae Woo & ‘Mihawk Back’. They are incredible Dancers and they create the majority of EXO, NCT and other SM Entertainment Groups. Kasper choreographed EXO CBX’s “Blooming Day” what you are seeing is for their live concert performances. This is only Baekhyun, Chan & Xiumin with back up dancers.

Sadly you don’t get to see a lot of the choreo in the MV but THIS is how they perform it LIVe. It’s amazing.
Dance comes more naturally for Xiumin….Chen & Baekhyun have to work harder but all three are fabulous in the end. And that’s Chen with the long high note.
