Dear Dr. My child 5 years age is dosgnosed with mild adenoid, but there is fluid behind the right ear tonsil is small, but still doctor tell to do surgery. Dint even try for medical management. Please advise, how and when will the fluid drain from the ear on its own. Please dear doctor.
Try nasal spray for minimum 3 months. He may improve after 5 days. If no improvement after 3 months of nasal spray and adenoid is huge and obstruction is more than 70% then it needs removal.

Sir This is what the problem i have since for a long time after surgery.. In my case eustachian tube is not blocked because of Cold or throat issue.. it blocked because of surgical mistake sir. Air not entering into middle ear. when i swallow there is a painful effect in ear

If fluid in middle ear and adenoid obstructing more than 80%, then better do surgery. Check out the status of tonsils
