I LOVE everything about this card. It's clean, it's simpl-ish meaning not what I would call simple but also not over the top foofy. It's just beautiful and the bonus is, it's lavender. As one of "those" purple loving gals, cards like this just grab my attention.

Do you remember stamping before stamping platforms... When we use stamps attached to wooden blocks? There was no stamping it again without risking a double line, a smear or total screw up. With all the frustration it's a wonder any of us stayed with stamping at all. Love the layered card. Those colors are beautiful.
That is exactly why I never took to it back in the day. Seriously. It was too stressful and not much fun. Then, the platforms come, and all of a sudden, I can stamp!

What a gorgeous card Cathy! Love the purple & blue together. And I really like how you stamped the HAPPY word & then offset the die cut. I’ve offset the die cuts many times, but never by stamping it first. That’s a fantastic way to do it. Again, really beautiful card.

Cathy, when you usually put the cutting dies in the same packaging as the stamps they match...why do you keep the Happy dies & shadow in a separate package from the matching stamps? Did you get them in at different times? Or is there a specific thought behind either combing or not? Just curious.
Ah, good question! There is ALSO a coordinating die set for the stamp set i used that cuts out all the script greetings AND the big happy. And… a word and shadow die you can get separately. Clear as mud?
Cathy, I purchased the Big Shot Stitch cutting machine. Not totally thrilled with it as when I attempt to run something through, its seems like I have to force it in before the machine takes over. It looks like your machine pulls the sandwich in with no prompting. Am I correct? I'm just wondering if there is something wrong with the one I purchased.
I also purchased the large 12 x 12 Misty it is on the heavy side but I figured this way I will only need one.

Mine goes through really easily… of course, you have to hit the Run button, which is different than most electronic machines. You could check with the maker of the machine you have, see if that is supposed to be normal!

I don't have an updated post on this. Working on it! I use a Canon Vixia Camcorder to film the table, and a Sony EV-z10 with a 16mm for my face.
