Congrats! As a fellow ZLE owner, I could not be more thrilled. I would suggest getting a baseline on track once you’ve pushed the car with it’s current setup before adding go fast bits.
I agree, this car has a ton of everything I already want, one of which is the Warranty still intact lol But all the basics are going on the car shortly, going to wait to get use to the power before messing with anything there

If I had to guess they are not, the ZLE is a compromised car as it is, don't see them releasing another variant of it, as production will be discontinued in the next few years

I actually got my 2018 ZL1 for $50k also...only had 3800 miles on it and practically brand new!
Wrap it and call it a day lol, if its a track car why worry about the paint?
I agree, The car will certainly be wrapped, but the bumper is torn and all the defects would show right through the vinyl, so over the next two weeks I will start a wet sanding & repaint DIY project then wrap it, we will see how it goes! lol
@@macpettit2327 If you are going to do a DIY repaint, try to do as close to OEM paint process as possible. And give about a month for paint to cure before wrapping. If you can't get a proper repaint, if you wrap it and lift the vinyl it may lift the paint when re-adjusting.

I’m only 2 minutes in the video so far, but I test drove that car before I found mine. I was pissed after driving for 2 hours to GA to look at it lol. They also had it listed for $57K at that time, didn’t mention that fact that there was a roll cage that had been removed & there was something wrong with the suspension at that time. Every time I’d hit the throttle I had to turn the wheel hard to go straight. Serious misrepresentation of what I was going to look at.
Edit: it must’ve been the rear end & not the suspension when I test drove it. Good luck & hope you enjoy man!

Probably won't be making a video on that topic as it doesn't fit much with my channel, but as a quite overview, the market is roughly up 10-20% vs last years prices, bought my 2018 for 30 & sold it for more than I paid, I think most dealers are listing in the high 30's true market & what people are willing to pay is 35+/- based on condition & milage

im trying to get one now... for you it was worth it... for that price you paid in houston, TX you can get a 100,000 mile ZL1 ... not many people know what a ZL1 1LE is... like i said... im trying to buy one now... i currently own a 17 ss .. i sort of wish i never seen a ZL1 1LE .... because once you do... you already know.......
Damn you got a ZL1 1LE for $49k and I got an SS 1LE for $49k. Albeit mine is new and yours is used, still, good deal man, congrats. Crazy that you found one even working for that much.

Yup I agree, started the paint corrections over the weekend & it is actually going much better then I anticipated, will be making a video on it & ceramic coating. And possibly! really appreciate you checking it out, Still learning how to add multiple variants of colors

Good pick up. Just today I test drove a 2021 only 6 miles on it. Imo, coming from a c7 z51, I wasn't impressed with the 650hp at all. I was really disappointed. Maybe its just heavier or maybe it wasn't broken in yet it was so new it wasn't giving me all the 650??

Thanks man I appreciate it, coming from my previous cars it definitely feels incredibly fast to me, but it has to be heavier then a C7 by a good 500 lbs, so that could certainly be part of the reason
?? You drive a C7 Z51 and you think the ZL1 1LE isn’t ‘impressive’? Sure buddy.. I owned a C7 Grand Sport prior to this ZL1 1LE and know for sure this car is much more powerful. Not sure what you’re talking about??
ZLE absolutely would destroy a C7 Z51, it would destroy a C7 Grand Sport, and it’s a better track car than the C7Z. So either something was wrong with the ZLE, or you were driving an SS 1LE.
Nice car man! As far as the merch, I would be interested in some gear but the “R” at the end of the 1le is a little polarizing. I own a shock 1le so maybe more colors 🤨.

For a while for sure, I think the only car I would really consider is the C8 Z06 whenever that comes out, but it's going to be a few years before those actually hit dealer showrooms

I know it’s a track car and ppl are going to abuse it. But how come they didn’t xpel the whole car geez feel bad for the paint. I have a 2018 also like yours and I did paint correction and the side fender by the rear tires your scratches or rock chips those are deep scratches. I have the similar rock chips I couldn’t do to much. So later on I’m just going to wrap the car hyper blue looks amazing. Mine is also black
Any chance you have the stock seats from your ss still? I want to upgrade my seats to the leather alcantara ones that you took out for the racing seats! If you do and want to sell I’d be interested!

On my SSLE I actually dremel’d out the stock bow tie; so it was free
