Yes! I can't wait for this playthrough! The Getaway 1&2 were two of my favorite childhood games. Criminally underrated and ahead of their time.
Good games, but ahead of their time? Hell no lol. Do you remember how shit the controls were? They were GTA clones but did much less than GTA.
If you want to talk about a game that was ahead of its time let's talk about the first Mafia or The Godfather.

All because on hardware mode it doesn't have the black and white filter properly working on PCSX2 unlike on software mode

I remember when I first got this game back in 2008 when I was in 1st grade, and I couldn’t wait to get out of school just to play this masterpiece! Until I got to the mission where Sam had to receive the laptop back.

Ah yes, the segment that I would replay over and over again because A. I was really bad at the game and couldn't get past this part and B. The game never explained to you any of its mechanics leaving you to figure out what the hell any of the buttons did.
I didn't even know there was a way to recover health until I was already in my 20s.
Mann, I played this on the ps2 and I did not have a memorycard so I could never save it but I did not need it because I came never further then the first mission

Nice! I think that uploading the videos in 1440p is the best quality for YT considering that 1080p is the standard and in 4K it takes too long to process. Good work mate :)
It's also because 4K is very demanding with this game, so I'm playing at 1620p and recording at 1440p. :)
I just had a feeling this was next. Can't wait to watch through this. A few quality of life changes were made making this a better playing Getaway game.

Of course, popular Black Monday. Through last year I found out this series despite being an interactive movie or something, it's better than GTA. More realistic, you have car brands and well-designed London, story is much more action-packed and you always feel your behaviour affects both gangs and police who later wants to get even

I haven’t played this game since elementary school days I been more a fan of the first one I always thought this game was a different story line but then almost 3 years ago I discovered it was a continuous story after the first one when I saw Jamal (the leader of the yardie gang) was in this one but whatever happened to frank carter after the sol vita exploded it looked like he took a dive and landed in the water.
We know mark hammond left London since he was highly wanted in the U.K. Or is he still alive is the real question lol

Hay Willzyyy, how do you play that old game with that good quality. I have PS 2 Slim and on my TV its look like shit compare to you.

PCSX2 is only good if you use Software rendering - Hardware rendering mode still has so many issues with so many games (Getaway missing car shadows, some effects in general, polygon wireframe shows up sometimes on some cars etc.) Yes, SW rendering looks rough but so did the games back in the day on your CRT TV - you can fine tune SW rendering with some settings (anti aliasing etc.) but it will still look not good enough for most people.
Something I don't understand since SW rendering is fine to me - HW looks weird to me with low-res textures and assets in general combined with high resolutions... just looks wrong and out of place - shows the shortcomings in an obvious way.
Are this game has no HUD and Health bar?
No The Getaway series doesnt have any of those you would have to rely on your character and where the car is telling you to turn
and also always save your ammo if goin out just pick nearby from dropping enemies
