A tip for anyone who didn't know that I love. If you want to get a better look at your picture before slicing your shape, you can change the shape to a guide or draw line to still see your picture. When you have the shape over your picture where you want to slice it, then change the shape back to basic cut and slice.

I LOVED my 7710(I bought mine on sale for $129.00 and it lasted me almost 3 years).. one day it just quit printing....I tried everything!!! This printer is now over $1000....for that price I would go with a sublimation printer!!!! I am currently eyeing the Epson ET-15000 I am waiting for it to go on sale.

I've had my Sub printer for almost a year and never used it! Mine is the Sawgrass!
For the flag, since I only have the 9x9 easy press, I’ll have to overlap some parts. So do I still press at 400 for 50 seconds? Will that mess up the parts that are overlapping?
What do you coat your mugs ate cups so they can go into the dishwasher
I use the Teflon on top of the butcher paper as an added layer of protection for my heat press, because getting the sub ink on the press can cause some big issues

I watch all your guy’s videos and I get so much information from them as
they are so succinct. I actually understand them. Love them. My husband got me a Cricut for Christmas and I think I’ve tried everything but sublimation. I have all the equipment (Sawgrass printer, 15 x 15 heat press and lots of polyester shirts to sublimate. I also have many blank coasters for painting). The coasters are not coated, they’re raw. Is it possible to sub on those as they are or do I need to use either the spray or powder to sub them? Thank you for all you do. So classy and informative.

You have to put some kind of coating. You can use polyacrylic or lamination sheets.
You can also get printers that do not require that you fill the tanks yourself for those printers you use the pre filled bottles or tanks I think they are called

Another question: on the pillow case can you lay the sequence one way sublimate then push all the sequence the other way, and sublimate again on the other side of the sequence ?
I was just about to ask the same question. But I think I know the answer. I can still see the image from the other side. It just might not be possible on this kind. I hope so though. Even if it was just some color blends on the underside, it would be cool.

I have a question about the cricut Maker 3..you know with the original Maker you can only have the chipboard, balsa wood, etc to I believe 11 inches wide on the mat...with the maker 3 can those materials be wider on your mat? I hope this makes sense..I have been debating to get the explore 3 or Maker 3..if it can't be wider then I'd just get the explore 3 bc then I can at least cut longer then 23.5 inches with vinyl..thanks so much in advance 🩷

Just an FYI be very careful with baby items. If you add a chemical you must get the material sheet for that chemical and then research if it is allowed on children items. The rules are much stricter for kids stuff...

Hi I’m a newbie and I have Epson aET-2803 did to separation and using hippo ink, but I cannot get my colors vibrant I was going to go ahead and download the silhouette app to use that because I was currently not using any Adobe or any other apps to help with color printing if you have any suggestions, I would love to help thank you and happy holidays. I’ve converted 2 Epson printers and both have stopped working and because I used a third party ink it voided the warranty, when it worked it worked but neither of them lasted a year the first one about 6 months and the second one only one month now I’m debating on converting another one vs buying an actual sublimation printer which is quite pricey 😢😢😢and why I converted it in the first place. I was talking with a fellow crafter that did the same with the same Epson model and hers stopped working to after many attempts to clean printhead it just stopped printing.

There is no "professional paid for" version of Inkscape. Inkscape is free.
I was just curious about the garden flag. Most that I've seen are double sided and I'm pretty sure that we're not supposed to press the items twice, so would it be possible to actually print out 2 sheets with the same design and press them at the same time?
Can you laminate the cardstock before having the cricut cut it out?
On the sloth onesie you didn’t put a piece of paper inside it before you pressed it. Should the paper be placed every time?
Yes. He just goofed a few times with that because he was distracted trying to read comments at the same time. Always use butcher or parchment paper.
If your printer is already set on mirror do I still have to flip image to horizontal on DS?

Can you use a non cricut heat press with design place?
The heat press you choose is not dependent on the design space program. The design space program is the design and cutting program. Depending on your design and product you are applying it to you could use a household iron. Cricut does have a heat guide app for their presses. The newer easy presses have Bluetooth options to connect with the heat press guide app cricut has
I have a Cricut easy press and I try making sublimated wood crafts but when I use laminated sheets and the right temperature it doesn’t stick to the wood. Any tips
You can only sublimate on items specially made to be sublimated. That means fabric that is polyester or surfaces that have been coated with polyester. Until recently it wasn’t even possible to sublimate on cotton shirts without using a special powder and now there is a spray. I wonder if you could get one of those and do some experiments to see if you can prep the wood with one of those and get it to work!!! I’d love to know.

how come when watching people sublimate on water bottles and cups they arent using the lamination paper or atleast mentioning it? ive never seen it before. and can you use it to sublimate on a darker shirt?
The bottles and cups are most likely made for sublimation. They already have a coating that allows you to sublimate on them without needing to apply a coating yourself.

Hi, I just wanted to suggest something that I did as a mistake and it worked out wonderfully. See if you can somehow make this idea happen. So I was sublimating on iridescent Smart vinyl and I accidentally forgot to remove the outer layer of the thicker sticky plastic from the vinyl before I sublimated it on the black tee shirt. Eventually after two washes and dries the thicker plastic is peeling off and the sublimation ink remains perfect on that clear that there was a way we could figure out how to get a clear iron on vinyl it would be amazing.!!!

Crunching ice is a symptom of low iron.
