this sounds like a mix between no future and vertigo with the beautiful guitar riff and the pitch shifting with the odd ambient samples. beautiful as usual
I don't think comparing his new things to old things is a good thing for him. As an artist it's pretty depressing having people see your art as unchanging, but yes, you can sense the vague influence of his older works. Otherwise it's something completely original

I've been having a shitty month: lost a lot of friends, got a respitory infection, and been losing time trying to get better. Knowing that Eden is still around and making music brought a smile to my face. The tweet he sent earlier this year "maybe i should just end it" broke my heart as bad as my last break up and the day Edubble/Evan Wallace died. I didn't want another artist i followed for a long time and lived by their music to die on me. then a few hours later i saw him tweet "alright. I'll stick around and keep making music". That was the biggest wave of euphoria i felt then and feel it now.

Dude this song is so well mixed, like the way he slowly brings the backing guitar into the foreground and accentuates it with his vocal mixing, chefs fucking kiss! One thing I love so deeply about Edenâs music is his innate ability to mix his tracks so well.

I've been a fan of eden for almost 8 years and I've gotten a bunch of other singers I like because of him leah kelly, between friends, ato, etc if you see this thank you I needed a new sense of music from the old jazz I used too listen too

maybe, but to me it felt like he always knew what he was doing, at the very least that's since he left "The Eden Project" and became "EDEN"
@@icarus2051 eden project was a lot more electro and not a lot of singing and in school. Eden was the switched with end credits ep that was more instrumental and more singing and knew what he wanted but wanted to get there without being "electro". Ityttmom was very much instrumental with singing. With more songs that could go on the radio and fit into it. Vertigo was a personal album which was still very instrumental but he was adding some more electro into it. Adding a darker but unique sound to it (imo my favorite album ever). The newer album was more of that unique sound that we can say "it's eden" within the first 10 seconds of the song. After that album, it seems like he found what he wanted, if not very close to it
