@@mangrove Yeah I grew up and have lived my whole life in Oakland County which borders Macomb county except my first 1.5 years of life where I lived in Bellville and Ypsilanti which are in Wayne County and Washtenaw County respectively.
One of life's regrets was not stopping at the Central Michigan University bookstore and chatting/ getting Dick Enberg’s autograph. He made an appearance for his autobiography, and I saw him through the store window as I walked past. I do wish that I had taken the time to stop now.
Dave Kreig, Chuck Long, & Gino Torretta, what a unique QB room 😂 I just bought the jersey Long wore on the sidelines in this game & I was able to photomatch it through the footage from this video, so thanks for uploading it! 🙏
52:02 Hansen records the first sack of the game. Perfect technique, gorgeous tackle, would have been called roughing the passer in todays league because he drove him to the ground and fell on top of him🤦🏽♂️
1994 was the year teams started wearing throwback uniforms. Those Lions throwbacks blow. I wish they'd get rid of them and come up with something cool. They're just boring AF.
If they had gave Dave Kreig Scott Mitchell's deal, they would have won at least 1 or more Superbowls in 1995, 1996 & 1997. In '95 they had a great team with a 50% completion QB. Scott Mitchell was the weak link.
Agree Mitchell was the weak link. But Krieg was over the hill in 1995 as he was hanging on with the Cardinals. Two QB’s the Lions could have possibly acquired during this time was Boomer Esiason and Randall Cunningham. Boomer was stuck playing on an awful Jets team and Randall needed a changed of scenery.
I know everyone seems to think that Madden and Summeral were the best announcing tandem. I was always a Dick Enberg and Merlin Olsen kinda guy. I never liked Bob Trumpy.
I was there that day. That place absolutely exploded on the flea-flicker. I'll never forget it.
That Dick Engberg opening made me very sad. Memories of our childhoods with family members no longer with us. RIP.
"A day for the young to dream and the old to remember..."
Amen
Great Dick Enberg (RIP) essay in the beginning! Oh my!
He just described all of our childhoods on thanksgiving day remarkable
He grew up in Macomb County, not far from where I hail from, so it resonates strongly with me.

Epic 🎯🙏🏽
Great storytelling by Dick Enberg in the intro. I wish they would do this nowadays. RIP Dick Enberg.

@@brianbachmeier34 Dick Enberg, the NBC announcer for this game
Was there a line for him at least? Heck if I wasn’t in Damn Nashville at the time, I would have come up and join you!

Chuck was good in college and is a fair OC in the UFL
That flea-flicker TD bomb to Herman Moore I could watch all day! Man, Krieg had an arm like a cannon!
No , no he didn't 😂😂. That was probably as far as he could throw..,55 yards is not a cannon.
@@Hangryoldman okay it seems like a cannon throw.
PERFECT! Its Canadian thanksgiving today Oct 10 2022

Man Enberg was awesome
The opening with Dick Enberg is everything. It made me yearn for my family that have passed on.

Great upload 🏈 🦃
Hi could you please upload 1989 49ers at Eagles or 1987 Rams at 49ers or send me a link? Id really love too see those games.
Barry Sanders does the best flea flingger of any runner ever! - Brian
Russel Copeland’s spinning helmet TD celebration!! He had only one more TD catch in his career.
I had no idea Hannah Storm did sideline duties for the NFL on NBC
She was also sideline reporter for NBA on NBC. Idk if you knew that or not.
