Me and my friends never faced ragging when we entered college (SCAC) and never have we ever ragged anyone as seniors. I feel that such instances might exist but they are few and far apart. Just in case you end up in a bad situation (which is highly unlikely btw) hold your ground and make your way out of the situation without panicking or being aggressive.
