www.ifsmed.com/energy-kinesiology-steve-hansen Energy Kinesiologist, Steve Hansen, demonstrates his muscle testing technique to see if individual supplements help or hurt.
I worked in the supplement industry for years. One of my coworkers did not believe in doing bloodwork but instead muscle tested for every single one of her supplements. She would put a whole bunch of supplements in a shopping basket, bring them up to the register, and muscle test for each one, and buying the ones she tested positive for and putting back the ones she didn't. When I asked her how she'd discovered this ability, she told me she had read a book. An incredibly powerful book I imagine, seeing that anyone who reads it immediately gets a supernatural power to sense supplements their body needs and reject other supplements their body doesn't. I asked her if PVC plastics are bad for you or good for you. She replied, "everyone knows that plastics are bad for you" I then asked if she would muscle test negative for PVC plastics. She responded, "of course." I then pointed out that half the supplements she was muscle testing positive positive for were encased in PVC plastic bottles. I asked her how she learned how to fine-tune her muscle testing to ignore the PVC plastic surrounding certain supplements that her body consents she needed, while ignoring the glass surrounding the supplements she didn't. She just got angry and walked away. No questioning her conclusions. No explanation. Just offended that I pointed out some thing she hadn't thought of before. I would like to add that if this was purely physiological it would make no difference if she had new information or not. BTW: she was insanely unhealthy
I have used this similar technique for muscle testing, but my understanding is very different from his! The way I understood it, the resistance in the muscle is a positive response, whereas the weakening of the muscle is a negative response. That was taught to me 30 years ago and still taught the same way today. I have tested it with many things, and so far it has not failed me.
It focuses on the energy flow through the muscles. Negative energy will weaken the response, while positive energy will strengthen the response. Basic science, not rocket science!
If you watch closely, the tester is facilitating the anterior deltoid by squeezing the muscle belly together (proximating it). The muscle tests strong. Next he unfacilitates the muscle by elongating the anterior deltoid muscle belly by stretching the fibers apart by splaying the fingers outward or opening the hand while running them across the anterior deltoid muscle belly. This unfacilitates the muscle and allow it to test weak. If the muscle is allowed to return to a facilitated state naturally, which it will do within a few short seconds, a food or food supplement can then be held close to the belly and if the muscle then tests weak as if unfacilitated, the body is rejecting this substance. However, if the muscle naturally tests weak, then any substance that facilitates it (makes it test strong) means the body desires that substance.
Good example... Our study group did this test, but had the participants hold a can of beer to their stomach. Instantly the arm became drunk and unable to resist pressure. Plus the arm had a hangover the next day.
Plastic also has a "frequency" so technically, you're filtering the supplement's frequency through the plastic's frequency.... Does it matter how thick the plastic is? How far away from the supplement does the supplement's frequency go out? What's the magnitude of the wave? Millimeters? Meters? Is it strong enough to make it through the plastic barrier? Are all supplement's frequencies so strong they can break through the plastic's frequency? This doesn't work in the real world. Try this with internet cables, just assume they have frequencies that will magically find the other side. We're not radios. We're also not dogs or eagles that have very sensitive smell and eyesight. Where is the chemistry equation and electrical energy wave equations and atomic energy level papers proving this? If you don't have that information, you can't prove it.
Cute that some people believe such utter nonsense. Even in the unlikely event there would be something to this method, there is no logical reason to assume the frequency of the plastic bottles wouldn't interfere with the results.

@@tika4113 How do you test this on your own?
Me too. I've had muscle testing a lot and the resistance means it's good for your body. Going with what I already know.

I’ve seen others do this same thing, and I too find it odd that the supplement itself is not even in contact with his skin.
The material in the bottle emits a frequency that the body can detect. Skin contact is not necessary.
How can you do this on yourself?
this cant be real lol

So the body knows what’s in a plastic bottle? This makes no sense
The material being tested emits a frequency, as all materials do. The skin doesn't have to be in contact for the body to be aware of the substance.
holding a plastic pot ...
